I was served with a civil action the day after Christmas, which created an extremely short and stressful timeline with two holiday weekends before having to appear in court. This was the first time I had ever been served with anything, and it came out of the blue following the end of a very short personal relationship. I had never been involved in anything like this before, so I took the matter extremely seriously and had a lot of anxiety about what to expect. Even before I formally hired him, Albert spent a great deal of time over Christmas weekend talking through my situation, helping me understand what was happening, and walking me through my potential options. I hired this law firm for a restraining-order case in 2022 and paid $5,000. In my experience, the representation was extremely minimal; mainly paperwork filings, with no real challenge to the opposing party’s false and contradictory claims. The other party’s statements included serious inaccuracies (for example, alleging I was “stalking” while I was verifiably overseas, and claiming to have hired a “private investigator” without producing any report or proof in her court filings). I provided my attorney with documentation that disproved these claims, but it was never used or mentioned in court. I expected a defense that would highlight factual inconsistencies and protect my reputation. Instead, the case was handled passively, as if the goal was simply to move it through the system. I felt unheard and unprotected, and the final outcome didn’t reflect the evidence I had. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion only. I’m sharing it so others understand the level of engagement and advocacy I received.

The worst lawyer ever! After I paid him he totally changed. He was mean to me when i asked him dimple questions about my case and most of the time he didn't know the answers. Please read his Yelp reviews before you hire him. You will save yourself a huge headache.

I had a case I called Mr. Guagadno to see if he could help me with. I told him I didn’t have any money and that I should go with a public defender. He talked me out of it and told me that he’d represent me and probably get my case thrown out of court. The police made their arrest based on video evidence which is what I was going to use to prove my innocence. After reading the police report I knew I would win the case as the report didn’t match the what the video had shown. I told Mr. Guadogono to get the video and I could show him that I had not committed the infraction I was charged with. Mr. Gagging told me some story about how I couldn’t watch the video based on something about the prosecution. He told me that he had seen the video but did not want to go into detail about what he had seen only that he had this under control. Long story short he had not seen the video nor even asked the DA for this evidence that would have saved me. This attorney did absolutely nothing to help my case. I’m sure a public defender would have gotten this dismissed. Attorney told me how I was wrong for getting myself in a position where I could be charged for this. He then berated me by saying he wasn’t the one who did this, or who said that. If he wood have done his job the way he was supposed to I works have gotten off. Since he never saw the video, how does he get off saying anything about me being in the wrong place at the wrong time? I find out after my case that if I asked to see the evidence from which I was being charged with I have a right to see it. I asked to see the video and this attorney did not allow me to see it. Again my case would have been dropped. One other thing, this attorney gave me transcripts of a current DV case he’s on with victims and defendants names. This transcript of the accounts are very private and personal. What if this was your case he let slip through his fingers and end up in someone’s email inbox? If you want I will take a snapshot of it and post it to another rating.
