I wanted to leave a review for John Thompson because I was so thoroughly impressed with how he advised me on all my disability related legal questions. He is extremely knowledgeable of related laws and legal precedents and communicated it all in a way that a non legal expert could understand. He obviously cares about the public and doing what he can to advocate for individuals against the large insurance companies. I have no doubt he would do his best to give honest counsel on the details of your disability related circumstances. Thanks John.

Based on my experience, Insurance companies are architected to decline any claim. Contact John before you do anything as a simple misstep can void a valid claim. The laws are written for big Insurance. Make sure you are working with someone who understands the rules - John does.

The entire process was made very easy by Guerrini & Thompson. John did a fantastic job of letting me know exactly what to expect every step of the way, and kept me updated regularly throughout the case until it was resolved.

Bernie Guerrini and Guerrini & Thompson, P.C. were referred to me by another attorney I knew that didn’t specialize in long-term disability. They did magnificent job winning an appeal by a dreadful large insurance company. John Thompson took over after Bernie Guerrini retired and his service, consultative nature, and responsiveness has been top notch. Betsy, the Office Manager, has always been a delight to work with. This is the ONLY firm I would recommend for long-term disability claim help.

After initially being rejected for my claim, Guerrini & Thompson was my first phone call after another friend’s recommendation. They began correspondence with me on that same day, gathering information to make sure they could help me. They quickly jumped in and I felt like I had an extended family fighting for me. Betsy and I worked tirelessly together bringing together the details. She was so organized and delightful to speak with that we began to visit for a few quick minutes before transferring me to John (and Bernie, when I first began). EDIT: I spoke with Mr. Thompson and he was very kind and professional. He walked me through my options to the best of his knowledge, even though he was not able to take my case. He also apologized profusely for his receptionist. I'd rate this practice 5 starts if it hadn't been for this initial negative experience, but again Mr. Thompson was very helpful. I called to see if I had grounds to sue for a particular situation, and the woman who picked up the phone said that they don't deal with this, she does not have any suggestions, and that she had to take another call. She literally hung up on me as I was trying to talk to her. Might I add that I paid for a referral service that provided me with this lawfirm contact information. Completely unprofessional and rude.

My situation didn’t allow this firm to represent me, however during initial conversations Mr. Thomson went through scenarios, gave me options, and communicated extremely well! I have no about if I had been able to proceed he was the right person to represent me. I would definitely recommend

I was very lucky to find Guerrini & Thompson to assist with my LTD claim. These claims are very complicated and a mistake can leave you with no options. They are very well versed in the process and do an excellent job of explaining how the system works. Mr Guerrini initially spoke with me about my claim. He spent over an hour on the phone with me going over the process and what to expect. They sent very clearly written notes on what to expect. Eventually we ended up doing meditation. Mr Thompson lead the meditation. It was very obvious, very early in the meditation, he knew what he was doing! We settled the claim during the meditation session. I highly recommend them for your ERISA claims!
