Lawyer: noun - a person who practices or studies law, especially (in the UK) a solicitor or a barrister or (in the US) an attorney. That is the definition of a lawyer; a good, honest description for such a position. But to me Carlos is much more than a person who practices or studies law. From the first time he walked into my bar I said to myself "this is a man who could get me out of a lot of trouble." And, luckily, my theory was correct. A friend, a drinking buddy, a good man, and an amazing beard. These are the words I would use to describe Carlos well before I ever described him as just a "lawyer." But by God, he is a good one nonetheless.
