The WORSE ever consultation. The lawyer was incapable of listening to a full sentence and only wants to represent what seems to be “slam dunk” causes. When I explained to her that I had severe medical conditions that both specialized doctors agreed with my application for disability, she denied to move forward. While that is well within her rights, her approach, was insensitive, clearly calculated and supportive of the idea that she doesn’t represent the people because she cares but simply because it pays the bills. If you have any ounce of humanity, find another attorney that doesn’t see you as just another cripple whom she can make a dollar off of cause you’re obviously and indisputably disabled. That’s all she’s interested in

As a client of Hall & Rouse, I had a horrible experience. I was told by Mr. Hall before his retirement that nothing could be done until I had a denial letter. I had filed myself the first time and got approved without any help from an Attorney. However, once I was approved Hall & Rouse took 25% of my money after they said they were not entitled to anything unless they did the work after a denial. They are very dishonest, and they are very untrustworthy. I think they took advantage of the disable, especially Miss Regina I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this firm.

I got denied the first time so I got in touch with Ms. Bethany Hukill and her assistant Ms Laura Hunt they did a excellent job in getting me approved for my disability and working so hard for me.I would recommend her for anyone needing a disability lawyer.

After hours and hours of paperwork, receiving a Denial from Social Security Disability was crushing. Treatment at a world renowned hospital had gone horribly wrong, leaving me with not only Treatment Resistant Depression but also severe PTSD. I had to resign from a job I had enjoyed for over 18 years, there was no way I could work since my only goal was to not cry in front of people, and I now had to get independent health insurance at $1,300 a month. My husband and I did not know what to do. I had heard that disability for mental illness, with physical issues as well, was almost impossible to get. But that thin envelope with its denial decision left me with nothing to hold on to. When I left a voice mail telling my psychiatrist about the decision, she responded with a very brief text: “Hall and Rouse, Raleigh.” I called the next day, not even sure what I was doing. That was fine because Hall and Rouse knew exactly what to do. From that first phone call, I realized I was dealing with a firm that saw me as a person, not a number. They were with me through every form, every doctors’ appointment, every X-ray and MRI. They responded quickly to any questions and made sure I had received all the forms and information DSS delivered. So while there were still hours of forms and hoops to jump through, this time I had an incredibly competent team helping me. And the final result, a partially favorable ruling, will help pay that monthly insurance bill and some medications. I am so grateful that Hall and Rouse made that happen. When I originally posted this, I forget to send a huge thank you to Laura Hunt, who kept all the moving pieces synchronized and all the cats herded! She stayed on top of DSS with many forms of communication and always let me know where we were in the process. She was encouraging but made no promises, ever. It is difficult to get disability for depression, but she was a key player in making it happen. She checked in with me regularly, treating me like a person, not a number. The law firm does not get paid unless the client receives disability, and mine was labeled partially favorable, for reasons no one could figure out, so their fee was not particularly expensive. But having been quickly and flatly denied once, I was not going to jeopardize the amount I did receive. So again, many many thanks to the excellent abilities of Laura Hunt.
