I hired Suzanne Wagner as my divorce attorney as her name came to me by a trusted referral. I should have met with more than one person prior to moving forward with Suzanne…so shame on me for not doing my due diligence. Shame on Suzanne for taking advantage of me and my case trying to drag it out and complicate it when it didn’t need to be. We were an uncontested divorce and agreed on all terms the entire time. Both my ex and myself had open communication with Suzanne and Haller and Colvin team in response to their requests. The problem is their assumptions of what was needed vs what was told. I can’t provide information if I have not been informed to do so or by when and what this applies to. I believe lack of communication is intentional on their behalf again for the sake of dragging things out and extending billing. Every email to read and send a response is a charge. My best advice to anyone looking for help if there is any chance you are an uncontested divorce do a little research/reading save yourself a lot of time, headaches and money and efile yourself. Even if you aren’t uncontested I still would highly recommend considering someone else…a divorce alone is stressful enough if the right attorney can take something off your plate as that is their profession then find someone who is willing to do just that. It was through my own research to gain knowledge, present that knowledge to Suzanne just to keep my case moving forward. I’m not saying she is a terrible attorney but unfortunately she did a poor job in handling my case. My referral did not have this same experience. My other biggest warning for anyone mediation is not a requirement especially if you agree on terms. Something that felt pushed just to be billed and was even scheduled for a date and time after our final settlement hearing date by the court. Mediation was set up by Suzanne and her team at Haller and Colvin and was not court ordered…just stated who we would use if mediation was needed.

Worked with Attorney Travis Friend on a recent Allen County matter. Clear, responsive, and strategic. I plan to return for follow-up to generate a best case scenario to this case in the next 1.5 - 2 years. Very optimistic about this. Highly recommend.

Won’t recommend this firm to anyone! Overrated, Travis Friend over billed me for services and hours that they were not performed, they use collections agencies against their clients. Very bad experience with Travis Friend.

Travis friend is very attentive to his clients if you call he answers if you need to talk to him he makes him self available for you but he does charge for every call he charges for travel time to and from court. he doesn’t fight for you just walks you through the process. I have a level 5 felony dealing marijuana and level 6 felony fleeing he charged me 7k and didn’t even fight for me to get home detention like I wanted he got me work release and now I have to pay another attorney to modify my sentence and get me home to my family VERY over priced

Linsey Swanson is a great attorney! She worked really hard to help me and deserves to be a partner with her name on the building. I’ve literally never seen any attorney work as hard as she did and care as much as she did! Most lawyers seem like they’re just in it for the money but she actually cares. She looks out for your best interest and not just hers. One of the greats for sure!!!

Had a consultation with Kayte on Wednesday by Friday she had a signed agreement. I had been working on this for 3 years prior to Kayte taking on the case. I highly recommend Kayte to anyone fighting for custody and parenting time

Stay away from this firm. Hire elsewhere. I paid Don Swanson $5000 to get a video of a police officer attacking me to get a conviction overturned. Once he got the video he refused to share it with me or the news station so I fired him. Then he refused still to turn my evidence over to me. They ignore your calls and emails. This man is a crook I wish I had read his reviews before I hired him. He is blocking me from the video to protect his relationship with the prosecution and blocking the video from news media. If you hire this man you will never be able to get a hold of him. Don't hire him and spread the word. He doesn't have a problem with screwing his clients over.

I am dealing with things 2 years later that I shouldn't be because it wasn't handled correctly the first time. I am very disappointed. If the adequate time and effort was spent on my case, there would not be so much grey area and I would also not be overpaying as I am currently.

Lindsay Swanson and her staff were amazing!! We have recommended her to friends and family. Ms. Swanson and her staff took a difficult to deal with situation and got it fixed for us, they were able to help us navigate through a sticky mess and achieve the goal.
