Search no further, Ted Hammel is the best attorney ever! On two separate occasions, 15 years apart, a friend of mine got into a bind. An aggravated DUI. He was not guilty of the charges, but Ted had to prove why. He is brilliant, has years of experience, and has thorough knowledge of how the Will and Grundy County court systems operate. He is clever and leaves no stone unturned when working on a case. Ted was successful in getting my friends DUI charges dropped 15 years ago. He was amazing then and continues to be today! Back in November last year in 2025, I got pulled over for speeding. It was 26-34 over. With it being high speeding, I could have gotten jail time, high fines and maybe more like points on my license. Ted Hammel represented me for a minor traffic accident. I felt like I was wrongly charged with the accident, but I can’t unring that bell. So Ted said you don’t want this ticket going on your driving history at the secretary of State because it will affect your insurance. So Ted told me the best way to handle this. I followed his lead and after six months from the accident happening, I went in the court, and I walked out with the case being dismissed. I like Ted’s professionalism and I would recommend him to any friend or family member. I also hired Ted to represent me for not wearing a seatbelt. He told me I would have to watch a two hour video online at home. Answer some questions regarding the video I just watched and once you pass that you get a certificate that you screenshot. I sent it over to Ted and he submitted certificate to the court, and the case was dismissed. I never had to go to court once on that seatbelt case which is a pain because I would have to drive all the way out to Joliet probably two times. Thanks again, Ted.
