O out of 1 stars was not an option. Zero correspondence. My mother recently passed away and I was named as the Executor of her estate. I called Hansen Law office on 10/7/25 and said this is my first time as an executor. I have no idea what I am doing. My Mother listed you as her attorney as you wrote and executed her Will… To say that Jay Hansen completely dropped the ball would be a massive understatement. My mother trusted his firm to handle her end of life paperwork and submissions after she passed. I reached out to him over and over… Seven calls no return phone calls, an email from me and our financial advisor; no reply, not a single response. In my opinion this kind of silence is unprofessional and disrespectful, especially when a family is dealing with the loss of a loved one. If you’re looking for a law office that communicates or shows even basic follow-through, then this is not the place. My experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing; nothing professional about this attorney or his administrative staff. When we reached the seven week mark of no contact, I went in and picked up the death certificate and Jay couldn’t even be bothered to leave his office and have a conversation with me. This obvious dismissal and disrespect has been the worst treatment I have ever seen from a professional. We have now hired another Law Firm, and have gotten more done, and received more information after just one visit, than we ever did with Hansen - 10 out of 10 would never recommend, ever! I wrote an accepted offer on Monday, and we closed Wednesday at Hansen Title & Legal Services!! We needed some simple estate planning done- Jay was going to send us paperwork- after a few days we called- his computer wasn’t working so he had his secretary send it. We filled it out sent it back and waited. Finally after a week we called back- he said he had been busy, but we got an appt. We met with Jay and he was supposed to send us out more paperwork to approve- another week, another call, and then got the paperwork. We had another in office meeting and he said we would have the final paper work by Tuesday- our meeting was on Friday am. We waited another week and called- he said he thought we were going to make an appt to see the finals, we said no he was going to send to us , so he said he would send right away- It’s now been 3 more weeks, and we never received a final draft! Also, each time we called the phone was answered with a Hello, so I had to ask if I was calling the correct place! We have wasted 3 months screwing around with Hansen Title, and I would not want anyone else to waste their time so I am leaving this bad review in hopes you will go someplace else if you need any Estate planning done.

Automatically assigned me expensive title insurance, although I later learned that this was optional in my case, as I was a cash buyer. Also, missed a $400 closing cost - to my favor - which I had to catch and have corrected.
