No issues charging ridiculous amounts to continue a case on and drag with an opposing counsel that is working together(why would this firm refer opposing counsel to represent an ongoing case?), and threaten trial is going to be so much more. Started out strong, and mostly just talk, then wanted to settle and leave the case in extremely bias hands. The judge appointed in my case has been the only neutral/bright area. Wouldn't recommend this firm, and feel terrible that I was recommended to them. Should know better when a female refers, as they have the upper hand in this toxic family law system. Notice the report listed below and those individuals work for this lawyer firm as well. These attorneys would rather create issues and charge to "fix" them, than advocate for parental rights that are ignored and never enforced. Money over parental rights.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Ryan Kinney and his team at HPK. I love this office! They always have someone available at the front desk should my attorney not be on hand. They also have lots of paralegals to help save money on files. They have a great team to lean on each other for advice which was definitely lacking in the last private practice I had hired. Happy to be with a team of professionals.

Called yesterday and was told Ryan Kinney would consult with me on a matter and COULD handle it. There is no conflict or anything but this morning with 30 mins prior to appointment I get an email that he can't handle it and no reasoning provided. Referred me to the worthless state bar referral number. I want to be clear, I spoke very highly of Ryan and I know him to be a very good attorney who really could handle my case. This kind of behavior however, especially with no reasoning given is alarming and unprofessional. Maybe HPK should stop listing services they provide if they can't actually provide them? I'm a reasonable person so if you guys want to talk, you can reach out but this is really irritating.

Jake was an amazing attorney. He was super kind but straight forward he eased my anxieties a lot about being in court as I’ve never done it before. He helped me with a protection order & a custody case. He did specific petitions so the judge knew exactly what I was asking for and why. He was super quick but very thorough and made sure I understood everything that was happening whether in court or with paperwork. He was also very quick with responses to any questions or concerns I had as well. I would definitely hire him again but hopefully I won’t need to haha.

I was at a complete loss of how to handle my situation. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through the confusion of court documents and procedures without Rich Pinol’s help. Rich and his team were very communicative and helpful in every aspect of my case and I will be forever grateful to them.

There are only two things I regret in this life. The first was not fully upgrading my HVAC system so I could roll it over into my refinancing during COVID at %3 interest. It would have been $20k instead of $12k but it would have paid for itself overtime. The second thing I regret is not hiring theses guys before my ex wife did. I hated going into court against these guys because they did everything I wanted my attorneys to do. Seriously if you don’t have the money figure it out and hire theses guys. I’m very sad that I will never have the opportunity to give them my money. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
