Rented a property from Adam Harrell. Stayed there for 2+ years. Did move out walk through with Maureen his property manager and we agreed to no damage and getting $1313 back. Deposit: $1100 + $212(6 days prorated rent as I left early on July 25 2024). I was asked to pickup check from Adam’s office. I came to Adam’s office, I was told he is not in office. Spoke to some of his people and while I was about to leave he showed up from within the office. Told me $993 is the amount I get back instead of $1313 based on what Maureen told him. Didn’t honor what was agreed upon in move out walk through with Maureen. No explanation of damages if any with bills for same was given by Maureen or Adam(1.5 years now). He said take the check or go to court and asked me to leave right away. Opened the door and waited for me to leave. This is by far rudest behavior I have seen by someone who runs a big firm like him.

Reached out to request a consultation as I need legal counsel to settle my father's estate and plan for my estate as well. No one called me back for five days, and then called on a Sunday morning while I was in worship services. Perhaps this is the way this firm manages individual clients vs business clients. I manage business Monday through Friday and find it disrespectful to reach out to clients on weekends and after hours for non urgent matters. This indicates disrespect. I am disappointed as I know this firm from working with them with my former church as well as attended college with one of their partners.
