I was in N.Y. when retained Hart Law Office for $2,500 & my child's father didn't show up for court so I got custody by default yet was not offered a penny back nor was I offered any award letters etc. Mr Hart do your records go back to 2004?

I came in for a consultation with Steve Hart. He was very nice and answered my questions at no charge.

Hart Law Offiices went above and beyond in helping me with a complicated interstate guardianship issue. I don’t have the words to say how pleased I am with the work they did and with the outcome. Steve and Ramona were the best! Thank you!

Do not recommend! We’re worse off than when we started. Money hungry attorney claiming he did work so he can get paid.

Hart advised my husband to plead guilty to a crime there was evidence he didn't commit. Hart advised this under false pretenses. He claimed a critical hearing had happened, and pressed for an urgent decision on the plea. Shortly after he got my husband to sign a plea, that critical brady material (exonerating evidence) hearing actually took place and was completely hidden from him. We only found out through invoice and court records. Why would an attorney do that to his own client?? Why indeed.

Worst lawyer I have ever seen or used paid his firm approximate 30,000 dollars to have him not file anything and have me pay ex more money because he wouldn't file anything I asked or go after it was always we can file later . Wrote all documents basically saying she got everthing that was in the house, mean while releasing himself as my lawyer leaving me with nothing except a huge bill and my ex getting everthing ,in my eyes Steve hart is a scammer and a scoundrel, theif . Would not recommend his firm for anything not even advise

Well called to see if they would help me get money bank gave away while in jail then said I spent yet have evidence I was in custody but they would not take it

They work hand and hand with local law enforements not good law firm to represent the local community

Hired him for a lawsuit about a car. They quoted me between $500-$5000. Very money hungry. He charged $25 just to leave a message. I never felt he believed me about my case and felt that he just wanted to settle. I would be caught up on my bill and I swear he would call me in for a meeting to talk about nothing we hadn't already talked about just to charge me more. I felt victimized not only by the person we sued but also by this attorney who should have had my back. They even lost track of money paid to them. We didn't even go to court and he took more than half of the $10,000 settlement. Beware. More than $5,000 to him and we didn't have enough money to fix the car after it was over.

The most worthless lawyer. Money hungry! Didn’t care about my situation at all. We did a motion to get my property at residences. All he did was type of papers! Lied never told me the truth, talked bad about me to the police. 5,000+ Later & still didn’t get the items I was rewarded. Waste of time & money. He never helped me with anything! Staff are rude & not helpful. He was suppose to put the lawyer fee’s on my ex and never did that. Go find another lawyer!

Would not recommend him for anything. Absolutely the worst attorney there is. Hired him for some charges and he didn't even look at the evidence. He said he knew it wouldn't go over $1500. Ended up having to pay him an extra $600. Never received a detailed bill for extra expenses. Called multiple times regarding it and they can't get the system fixed. Never called to have communication sent letters and email to raise the bill. If your looking for an attorney look somewhere else.
