Walter Harvey charged me $5000 to defend me for a contempt of court civil lawsuit brought on by my ex wife in 2019. The case was dismissed in 2024 after just sitting in the judges docket with no work done on my behalf to get the case dismissed . Walter Harvey never let me (his client ) know the case was dismissed. When I found out online the case was dismissed with my own research 8 months post dismissal I confronted Walter via text and email in a nice manner to get an explanation. He confused the case with my already settled divorce case from 2018 and refused to provide accounting of his billable hours against my $5000 retaining fee he charged me. Now I have to waste my time and effort to go through the Georgia bar to get justice in this matter. I’m very disappointed in the services he provided me, his efforts to conceal his lack of efforts on my past, and his greediness to not give me back $5000 minus the actual billable hours he should have charged me to sit on a case for 5 years where no billable hours would have been generated.

DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS IF YOU ARE GETTING DIVORCED, ESPECIALLY IF THERE ARE CHILDREN INVOLVED!! Thomas McCormack threatened me, his own client, manipulated me, lied to me, and said I may never see my own daughters again if I didn't sign custody over to their father! What was going on?! I knew very little about the law; but I did know that my lawyer was supposed to be on my side! He had my money though; that was all that mattered to him! After years of domestic violence I was scared and vulnerable; so I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life and signed those papers. My daughters were alienated from me and brainwashed against me after that. I had to take my ex back to court twice just to get to see them! In a nutshell, he helped get my own children stolen from me!! THOMAS MCCORMACK WILL LIE TO HIS OWN CLIENTS! I DON'T THINK HE HAS A CONSCIENCE AT ALL!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! BEWARE!!! Trying to save you money and time. A couple years of your time. Do not waste your money! Most unorganized group of people I have ever dealt with in business. In my opinion this firm committed highway robbery.

I was in search of a good attorney for a custody and legitimation case. Tom went ABOVE and BEYOND to work hard not only for me, but my precious angel who just recently turned one. He is very professional, intelligent, and fights HARD to get the client exactly what they are asking for. I would hire him again in a heart beat! Definitely recommend hiring Tom. He is a BULLDOG and will fight for YOU. If I could rate him a 10, I would.

Well To Start With We Heard they was good ,, so we took 2500$ upfront for legitimation for my stepson so my husband could have rights needless to say nothing ever happened no court , no rights NOTHING!!! So we wanted to dismiss the case and get our money back but then they said after almost 2 years that they had a court date but we didn’t need it no more so we did the dismissal but the lawyer did not want to do dismissal or give us our money back so outta 2500$ we only got 750$ back and they did not do nothing for us so they screwed us all the way around! These people are a joke! When we would call we would get told he was in court but when I popped up at the office our so called lawyer was standing at the front desk!! The lie, take money and didn’t help us at all! Don’t waste your time if you need something quick I would never recommend them to nobody!

I hired Tom Mccormack in 2016 to handle a termination of temporary guardianship case I had extenuating circumstances surrounding my case. It has taken almost 3 yrs to get the case resolved I paid upfront and yes there were several times I was frustrated when my call wasn’t returned but guess what he’s not just got one case he has multiple clients. He resolved my case plus is helped my with a couple other legal avenues I asked about is is currently handling my mother probate case. He may be slow at getting things done but he definitely got me what I asked for in my case. I will hire him again if need be. and I do recommend him to anyone.
