TL;DR : Lane is such a bad attorney that when I talked to our new attorney the same way I had to with Lane, she thought I was insulting her intelligence. Lane has absolutely no idea what he's doing or worse, he just doesn't care. Still won't get back to us after multiple months, cost us 17 months of make up time for not siting the required law and also didn't site the law that states the petitioner is required to pay all court costs and attorneys fees for both parties if found to have committed contempt, which is easily provable. Not sure what's going on with him, but clearly he has no interest in communicating. Editing as of 6/25: Do not give this man your money, you'd get better legal counsel from a kindergartener. The "careless comments" made were the last two screenshots, as they point out specifically that judicial misconduct took place and unfortunately, Mr. Haygood is completely and utterly incapable of doing his job properly. Freedom of speech had absolutely nothing to do in this case, all he needed to do was cite TFC Sec.157.167-168 and we would have gotten more than he gave us. I spoke to Robert Garza himself as he cared more about this than Mr. Haygood did over the course of 3 years. On top of this, no bills have been sent, and after speaking with Lane MULTIPLE TIMES he stated he did not need more of a retainer. He simply does not care and doesn't want to do these cases anymore. Instead of saying that, he made the situation worse than if my husband represented himself and completely botched an easy slam dunk case that even the opposing counsel assumed they had no chance in winning. It's even more pathetic that he only decided to FINALLY get back to us after we contacted his new office with KURK.

Lane Haygood is the BEST!!! He fought for my Mom and won her case! I’d recommend him over anyone hands down!!!!

Although this attorney wasn't able to actually help me with my case he was very informative and gave me all the information that I needed moving forward. He was very helpful and informative with everything I had swirling around in my head. I know I can't really say how he is as an actual attorney but with how he handled my situation and my questions my money would be on him that he knows his stuff.

Lane is a great lawyer. He is the kinda of lawyer that you want on your side- I could call him day or night. All I have to say about him is HES great
