First of all, I have never had any personal contact with Mr. Seyit Ali Sahin, so I cannot say whether he is professional in his work or not. I chose Help Law Office upon a friend’s recommendation. We agreed on the contract price, and I made all my payments on time as we had discussed. One day, I needed assistance regarding an immigration matter. They had created a WhatsApp group for me. Despite messaging them multiple times, no one ever replied or called me back. When I later told one of the office employees that I would not make any more payments because I was dissatisfied with their service, he called me and spoke in a rude and unprofessional manner. I responded accordingly, but there should never be such behavior in a professional service environment. After that incident, I stopped making payments. Some time later, I received a call from someone I believe to be the office manager. I explained my dissatisfaction, and he told me that the employee in question had been fired and that “everything will be fine, blah blah blah.” He convinced me to resume payments. The very next day, I called the office again with another immigration question. A new female employee answered, told me she would call back shortly to address my question—and, of course, she never called back. After several attempts, I once again got no response. Seeing such unprofessional behavior, I decided to completely end my cooperation with that office. Nine months later, I suddenly received another call from them saying, “You haven’t paid us.” Can you imagine? After nine months! During that time, my EAD card had expired, and I had already paid another paralegal to renew it. Yet they still claimed that “our office has been monitoring your case and everything is in order.” A complete lie. I informed the manager that I was no longer working with them and had chosen a new attorney. Finally, they tried one last time to squeeze money out of me, saying, “You still owe us $700.” In reality, I received no real service for all the payments I had already made. In conclusion: If you are an immigrant looking for truly professional service, find yourself a proper law office—otherwise, you’ll only end up dealing with frustration and wasted money like I did.

Should have done this a while ago. A huge thank you to Help us Here, Back in December 2021, I ended up in a mess made by my uncle. He was never married, no children and could not care for himself. He had neglected to pay billls and had run up a $13,000 credit card bill due to late fees and interest, among other things. He had a $1000 a month SSA payment and some retirement accounts. With the cost of his care in assisted living nearing $8000 a month, I had no idea how I would be able to keep him there and pay his debts. I stumbled across HELPS online and decided to contact them. The went over his situation with me and determined that they could help without him having to declare bankruptcy. Essentially, they contacted his creditors and kept them at bay. In May of 2024, my uncle passed away. Two months prior, I received a notice from Discover that his debt was forgiven. Helps asked for a copy of the death certificate so they could inform his creditors.The other creditors have vanished. .
