Great lawyer. This is one of the last lawyers even willing to look at employment law cases. He should be praised for even taking the time to talk to you. Folks should not be leaving a bad review. You are shooting the messenger.
Set up an appointment for a paid consultation and emailed the supporting files for my case to them a week before the appointment. The day of the appointment I am told by the representative that they had not read over my case before the consultation. Spent an hour trying to explain the whole case time line with difficulty. The representative said they would read over the case files and get back to me, but they never did. I followed up and never received an answer. A solid waste of time and money
We review any documents sent during and after the consultation. Not prior to. The consultation fee covers the time we spend during the consultation itself assessing the case and, if there is potential merit, reviewing further details to determine if we will take it. That all said, I will speak with the attorney who did your consultation and ask him about the lack of follow-up, since you state he told you he'd follow up with you. That likely means he saw possible merit during the consult and should have had a follow-up call. I'll ask him to reach out and contact you to resolve any questions you have remaining.<br><br>Edit: I have followed up with the attorney who did your consultation. He did not believe you to have a case, but said he would review your files following the consult and let you know if anything changed his mind. He reviewed those documents, but nothing changed about his assessment of your case, which is why you did not receive a follow up. I'm sorry we were unable to determine you to have a meritorious legal claim, and best of luck to you.
After I got my property stolen I tried to file a claim. John hensel Took $2,500 from me and never filed the claim. He lead me on like he did for a year an a half.
There is no John Hensel here. Perhaps you're looking for a different Hensel Law? We do not charge up front fees for representation.
So I called this place nothing they can do for me and 200$ for possibly telling me they can’t help no thanks
We do charge a consultation fee. It is made clear in advance that it is for a consultation only, and that there is no guarantee of representation. The fee covers the time for the consultation. I'm sorry we did not believe you to have a legally meritorious claim, but I'm not sure why we received this negative based on this when the consultation was paid for and performed by an attorney.
Attorney Craig Hensel did what he does best! He is a professional in every sense of the word and followed through on the details. While each case is different, he managed to handle mine with the utmost respect and excellent advice, as most of the time I thought with my anger and not with my brain. He kept me on a even keel, and while my negotiations were not what either of us wanted, it still worked out in the end. I would definitely use this Law Firm again!
Their website says they have a passion for the type of law I need help with , but I guess it’s as long as you do not work for the certain employer I happen to work for , thanks for not even speaking with me . Or maybe that passion is gone ?
Thank you for your review. I see that we are one of your many one-star reviews. Unfortunately, this individual is upset not because of our performance, as he/she was never a client of Hensel Law and never had a consultation and never paid us any fee. Some people are just unhappy that we cannot help everyone, and we understand that. It's frustrating to be treated unfairly, but lashing out with one-star reviews against businesses that did not hurt you is likely not the best means of handling your unfortunate situation. Best of luck going forward, and I hope you will reconsider this rating.
