Hessig and Pohl were recommended to us for our very serious personal injury suit by a friend of the family. I just want to say they were the absolutely most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They would not reach out to us we had to call them and then it would be days even weeks returning our calls. This went on for 10 months.The lady I spoke to would always laugh about me checking in every 2 weeks like she had suggested , only to be told we don’t know anything yet, we can’t find out anything from the other insurance company. 10 months and there was zero movement and zero information to report . Our medical bills were over $300,000 so this was no small case I had been given Mr Hessig’s cell phone number which was the only way I could speak to him, and was always told he would have someone from the office return my call. After 10 months I received a call from the secretary to tell me that they would not be able to handle our case because Hessig and poll were dissolving ! And they could refer us to someone else! They knew there was a problem with their law firm but chose to not inform their clients until the last minute. This was Mr Hessig’s decision. So if you are looking for a law firm to represent you for something more important than a parking ticket - move on!! BTW we did go with another law firm who had our case completely settled in 30 days!

I had gotten hit on my motorcycle back 2020 suffered 5 different fractures and severe tissue damage also been through 2 surgery I'm now stuck with special shoe and won't be able to do things I use to..Through the whole process months gone by with no information or documents all I was given is a very small sum of what they might call chump change that'll pay for a 1 day stay in the HILTON..I've been blocked from their agency to where i cant get any info..

Attorney actually returned my call after hours just to answer a question for me. Very impressed. I would highly recommend this law firm

Rick Hessig did an outstanding job of resolving an urgent issue with a traffic ticket I received in another county in Kentucky. I realized I had accidentally missed a court date due to paperwork getting lost while I was moving. My dad recommended Rick based on his success with him as an attorney. Rick was able to immediately address my legal issue in the other county thanks to his established relationships with the local attorneys. I was highly impressed with how quickly he got me back in good standing. Just one phone call and I didn’t have to worry again. Highly recommend!!!

Hessig & Pohl did not help me or my family that was in a car accident in 2019. They strung us along for years, then at the current year they dropped us because they weren’t willing to fight the case in court. I was told that I would receive my case file so that I can pursue another lawyer and I’ve yet to receive our files. When I call they ghost me now I’m probably not able to recover my losses for injury or loss of my vehicle, in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. I do not recommend this law firm.

Worse decisions I ever made was to choose this law firm..... my lawyer Tom was let go months ago no one contacted to advise me of this nor have they kept in contact with me this entire time.... from the start there were red flags I was always told oh we are at this stage of the claim and we've done this when I call for a status update but then come to find out wasn't nothing done as I was told..... they had me settle out my daughter's claim when I told them I didn't think we should.... this was a very horrible experience with this law firm now I've wasted almost 2 years trying to settle my claim to only be told today that they are shutting down and I'll have to have another law firm take over my case if I didn't call I wouldn't have had this information.....I have yet to receive communication about the firm closing and my lawyer being let go I only reached out because I hadn't heard anything from this office since April.....very unprofessional... this has caused me more unnecessary stress I would have been better off settling the claim myself than using this law firm.

Not at all satisfied with the outcome. I won't get into the details but I would NEVER recommend them nor would I ever use them in the future.

Totally disappointed, held my claim up for a year, had to keep calling to see what was going on with, changed lawyers 3 times and then transfered my claim to another firm and I still don't know what's going on
