Hired them a year ago. I knew it was going to take a few months but when I didn't receive a call back from anyone I got concerned. When I called, I was told the person who was working on my case was no longer there and nothing had been done. Shortly after, ssi received paperwork but absolutely nothing was signed! I fired them and am currently looking for a new lawyer.

I had already been denied SSD once, and then denied on appeal. I didn't think I was able to ask for a second appeal. Once I realized this, I contacted Hiller Comerford for advice and assistance. From day one they were immensely helpful. They helped me request an appeal, and were able to advise how best to complete a letter of missed deadline. Once assigned to the case, there was a lot of run around as to who was assigned or whether they were assigned at all--but they handled all of it. They gathered the documentation from multiple doctors and kept me well-informed the whole way. They were always available when I had questions, and were friendly and helpful in every interaction. Thanks to them, my appeal was upheld and I finally am able to collect benefits as far back as Sept 2023. This would not be possible without Hiller Comerford's help, and I am eternally grateful.
