This law firm is comprised of excellent professionals with the community's best interests in mind. My initial interactions with this law firm were with a highly knowledgeable, respectful, and detail-oriented attorney named Mr. Tony DeAgostino. Tony guided me through the most stressful and unfortunate circumstances my life has ever dealt me. He listened patiently to emotional distresses and redirected me from my anxieties, all while diligently addressing the legal procedures, formal discussions, and official requests that came with assuring a fair and just judgment in the judicial system. After working with Tony and closing out the first of the pair of cases that fell upon me, several months passed where I was getting little help and little guidance in the Family Court judicial system. I was faced with an unjust binary choice and felt as though in the Criminal sector with Tony, I was represented to a degree that was demonstrably more focused on clear and evident client representation and the pursuit of justice. So, knowing that Hills at Law is a Criminal Defense firm, I reached back out to see if they would be able, or willing, to take up my case in the Family Circuit-- despite being a Criminal Defense Law Firm. I retained Arden as my attorney after experiencing seven months of painstakingly slow and unmotivated representation in the Family Circuit. Arden took up my case and within three months of retention, we had mutually decided upon a strategy to demonstrate the necessary path forward in the court, achieved each of the milestones within the strategy, and achieved the desired outcome within the Family Circuit. Arden devoted much of his time to talking with me, explaining procedural formalities, and developing a plan to decisively communicate what the just decision is, and why this is the just decision. I cannot say enough good things about this law firm. In addition to Tony's and Arden's great work, I also had only positive interactions with their assistants. I'm not one to write reviews...especially for lawyers. However, Jessica LaFond is a such a force to be reckoned with. Her intelligence, compassion, empathy and tenacity really sets the standard for any other attorney. She represented my nephew who was in a horrible accident involving fatalities. If I could give these people 0 stars I would. Not sure if they were just slow on business or what, but they tried to sell and scam me with their quote. I received a DWLS (Driving While License Suspended) and was quoted $3,500. Gave me the whole sales gimmick about having 8 people work on my case, etc. Started sending me text messages and emails trying to get me to sign some sort of documentation acknowledging that I would pay that. Long story short I moved back to kzoo from Detroit, so decided to call this crazy expensive, but legit lawyer I knew. He quoted me $1,500 and he said this place is trying to scam me with their $3,500 quote. He said he is always the expensive guy and $1,500 is high, but $,3500 is outrageous. I ended up going with Tony Toweson here in Parchment for $1,200. Got my case please down without talking to a judge and I paid $425 in total fines. He is gave me a free 10 minute consult so I could explain my situation and what I am hoping for. This SCAM of an attorney branch put some hot sounding young chick on the phone and they wouldn't go down a $1 in price, they wouldn't let me talk to an attorney for 5 mins nothing. This was the first place I called. I ended calling 5 different lawyers. Ranging from $1,000-$1,500 in quote. They were at $3,500. Don't get sold and scammed by this company. Make sure to call other places, they are just trying to money grab as many people as they can! Shame on you Hills At Law!
