One call was all I needed to know about this place. Very nicely explained what I needed help for. When I asked if I was wrong for reading that they help my scenario, the woman on the phone was VERY rude and sarcastic.

When I needed them they pulled through on slumlord case it's the only time I needed them but they did exactly as I asked and the outcome was very acceptable. You always hear horror stories but these guys are legit in my book . Like everything you do ... Look into it, research it for yourself especially medical, financial and laws if you don't know or not sure this is where you start

Hiscock Legal Aid Society This is the definition of a great lawyer his firm does not deal with my type of case but he patiently explained my options led me to another great lawyer that deals with my situation and just helped me in anyway he could you are greatly appreciated and I hope you continue to do great things

I don't know who's giving these reviews but I do know some of the aren't true in the least bit ...for example I've called 3 times and haven't gotten to speak to anyone or have I gotten a response to my calls..so my next thing is showing up in person to see if I can get some help..maybe if im lucky I might.

My attorney literally declined a trial without even asking what I wanted, they literally took my constitutional right away from me,

Contacted hiscock legal society for my green card application. They were willing to help with my case got the appointment with copper Townsend talked on the phone on Nov 15th 2024 and sent him all the documents requested. Called him back next week was told not feeling good and he will let me know but after that never heard from him until feb 3rd 2025. Good thing I went and hired attorney instead of waiting for him. I guess that what you get for depending on pro bono attorney. I would highly suggest get a professional lawyer instead of these people.

On Thursday September 12,2024 at 3:07pm,I received a call back right away from someone after calling earlier that day. The gentleman was very compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I didn't get his name saved, however if anyone wants to find out who he was,all they have to do is search by my name,date,time,and phone number.Thank you and please keep up the great work!!People in Onondaga County are counting on you!!!

I believe this is an elaborate scam to swindle money from the system. They had my case for almost a year, never lifted a single finger even though I begged them to help repeatedly, Then when the courts caught up and gave me notice and my case was going to be heard Hiscock said they didn't have enough time to prepare, amd that they actually closed my case because it was taking to long. I don't know how their scam works, but it's clearly that! A scam!

After two months, I've had to accept that they will never answer either e-mail or phone. Thanks to this, I'll likely be forced to self represent in my custody dispute.

This agency is a joke no wonder why the service is free. It’s really just a waste of time they did nothing at all. Assigned me to someone name Hannah I felt like everytime she called me nothing but one question was asked lol. Then stated she working on it which was false. Next thing you know i got a discharge letter stating my case closed because everything was handled! Waste of time if you looking you better off paying a real lawyer!

Hiscock Legal is for the public who cannot afford to pay the high expenses of a Attorney. They took my information and after a day or two I called back too see if I was eligible for a consultation. They said no because they ran my name there “Data Base” and my name was in there and that I didn’t qualify??? I asked why and she told me she wasn’t allowed to tell me why?? Awfully strange that they couldn’t give a honest and accurate explanation. So I really don’t know if they are very good, but it could do too a friend of my Wife who works for Barkley Damon, & Hiscock ?? Just a guess!!

Monica Heath is looking to do the least amount of work as possible before she retires. She has no intention in putting any effort in to help you. She's just coasting along until she retires and collects her pension. Which really is a horrible thing when you work for legal aid. Some of us can't afford fancy attorneys but don't we have just as much right to justice? Apparently, that's not Monica's concern. If she had put in some effort, she could have really helped me. Instead, she allowed my ex's attorney to bulldoze her way through the case and get everything she wanted. I would not recommend this attorney or Hiscock Legal Aid. Find another way, they don't care about you or me.

Very rude. They have a problem with you asking questions and hangs up on you. Before they hung up she said I don't know why they referred you here, there are other legal aid in Syracuse.

DO NOTTTT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID!!!! LAWYERS WILL TAKE YOUR CASE HAVE IT NOT DO ANYTHING WITH IT!! THEY WORK WITH WHO THEY WANT TO!! WASTED A YEAR OF MY LIFE WHEN I MIGHT OF BEEN DIVORCED BY NOW HAD I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I shouldnt of given 1 star... this law firm is the worst I wouldnt reccomend ever going to them !! I worked with them about my divorce for over a year to get moved all around the agency with 3 different lawyers...1st one was great ! so if you go get her !! I had a case for over a year for them to after a whole year of them not doing their job tells me there is a conflict of interest all of a sudden ... the Supervisor Mrs. Fairchild was just as non compassionate when I reached out to find out why after a year my case has to be dropped over a conflict of interest.. Im pretty sure if there was one it def should of been founded in the begining... this law firm picks and chooses who they help.. Dont waste a year of your time like I did!!!
