Excellent Excellent Lawyer. Mr. Hively was my criminal defense attorney and he was absolutely wonderful. He went out of his way to help me and I would definitely recommend to everyone. FYI...I beat all charges and was found not guilty. Hes good at his job.....

Months worth of trying to reach him with not one return call. What kind of lawyer does that to someone he has chosen to represent! He is rude, makes assumptions that he has no clue about and just an all around horrible lawyer. Don't call this man for help, you 100% will not get it.

Absolutely the most unprofessional attorney office in the tristate area it took me a month to get them on the phone and when the secretary answered she spoke to me for 1 minute and said she had to go for another phone call and couldn’t answer any questions and said she would have herb give me a call but I’ve left 10 voicemails and haven’t had a call back you would think as a professional they would be more responsible and helpful but they are everything but if you’re looking to pay this guy as a lawyer do your self a favor and save your money for some one that actually wants to and can help

Decent lawyer more likely than not if you want a divorce but I promise you with everything, Herbert Hively knows NOTHING about criminal law

If I was able to give ZERO stars I would. This is a very unprofessional office. You call repeatedly and no one answers. When the secretary finally answers she is so very rude and unprofessional. She really needs to retire or get some professional help herself. As for the lawyer my child has never once spoke to nor seen this man. He has been his lawyer for at least six months. Would recommend you run away from this practice as fast as possible.

Whether court appointed or paying out of pocket I wouldn't trust this office to defend my dog in a who ate the meatball trial. He is hard to reach, his receptionist is a snotty thing in need of a reality check. My best advice is just don't do it.
