This company has an unfair and biased gatekeeping process. They're advertisement is deceptive. My experience with them has been discouraging. I felt like when dealing with these people I wanted to give up looking for justice against my employer. I highly recommend looking for employment lawyers who can be more focused on your case. Find a lawyer who can help you with your discrimination, retaliation, or disability related case, and is not a lead generation company. You have 90 days if you have a right to sue letter. Don't waste your time especially with companies like this. This is an honest review.

So Dana was my lawyer and she was very helpful. I’m very pleased with the outcome.

Working with HKM was my first time having to work with a lawyer and that felt scary because I didn’t know what that was going to look like. Dana Sniegocki was an amazing attorney and I am grateful I had her to represent me. When I felt confused, she helped me understand the process and whats next steps. I felt confident with her guidance and would highly recommend working with her. My case was on a contingency pay basis and that was so helpful to know that I didn’t have to pay for everything upfront. Before this experience I didn’t know that existed and I am very grateful I consulted with a lawyer for my case and had the ability to have someone represent me.

I was happy with my lawyer for almost two years and truly felt he was on my side. However, towards the end of my case—despite having a very strong claim—he seemed to back away and strongly urged me to accept a very small settlement. He pressured me into agreeing by emphasizing how expensive trial would be. What upset me the most was the way the settlement was structured. My lawyer ended up walking away with more money than I received, and I was left paying an unreasonable amount of taxes on money that should never have been categorized that way. I voiced my concern, but was told “this is usual.” Half of my settlement was labeled as lost wages, even though the opposing lawyers had argued my wage loss was only about 10%. In the end, I felt pressured, misled, and left with far less than what was fair. I regret trusting how the final stage of my case was handled.

I had hopes to get assistance from an attorney or at least a sit down conversation ,with all the great reviews. But with the minimum engagement I had with one of their representatives. I just don’t feel like I was heard or had the proper engagement to express my situation. I have challenges that makes it hard for me to explain my situation over the phone. And after 1 phone call. I received a email stating I wouldn’t be represented when I haven’t fully explained or provided everything I have as a reason for me to even been searching for an attorney. I guess you have to have years of wrongful treatment to get help 🫤

Choosing to work with Dana and the HKM team as my employment attorneys was the best decision I could have made during a very difficult time. I could never have imagined that my 45-year career would end in such an awful, and hurtful manner. With that said, Dana handled my case (and at times my emotions) in a professional and steadfast way as both an adviser and an advocate. She is an excellent communicator, knowledgeable in all aspects of employment law and is a skilled negotiator. I also appreciate the references you provided; however, it is troubling that one of those references was mentioned in my initial inquiry. I appreciate the help I received from the receptionist during my brief conversation, it seems like a common experience for many lawyers when dealing with a big corporation as I work for it can be intimidating but cases have prevailed against them. They did offer some recommendations for attorney I could reach out to, but I think I will pass on those suggestions. instead, I chose to touch base with my probate attorney, who I trust, to see if he guides me to someone who would be willing to take on my case.

Not Impressed with the quality of service Called this morning to make a appointment to consult with a attorney. Never got past the receptionist she decided to become argumentative over me not wanting to communicate through email. This was even after I gave her my email address and said I prefer not to communicate in that manner though she continued to escalate the conversation and become more and more rude. The phone conversation ended with me asking her why she continued to escalate the situation even after I gave her my email. and after due consideration I decided that this probably was not a good attorney's office for me Which I think is rather disappointing based on all the positive reviews you have on Google, and the fact that you're very well spoken business in the nature of the law and how to speak with people and help understand employment rights and feel for them. I did not feel any of that when on the phone with your receiving person receptionist don't know what to call them.

What a pleasant experience from start to finish. Communication was amazing and consistent. I really appreciated the transparency of giving advice from an empathetic perspective on what was best for me and not what would make the firm the most money. Highly recommend.

I had a consultation with Dana Sniegocki recently and communicated with a case manager there named Rex Martinez before and after. Rex was so helpful answering my questions and setting up the meeting, I would get a response to my emails super fast and he was always patient and kind. When I had my consultation with Sniegocki, she was incredibly informative and not worried about how long our conversation was taking. The issue we were discussing had left me shocked and my thoughts scattered, but she was patient and willing to discuss any possible information or interpretation of events. I left feeling satisfied with her determination and fully understanding her determination. Honestly, it was exactly what I was hoping for and I really appreciate their time and help.

She took a $200 deposit, strung it out a long time while I was in charge of providing all documentation, and then 3 days before the time limitations to sue expired, an assistant called me and said they were too busy. Exhausting and very unprofessional.
