I really appreciate the time Shemia took with me on a complimentary 20-minute call to provide me with the advice I needed going forward. While at this time, I do not have a specific claim, I would not hesitate to reach out should my direction take a different turn. She is super smart - read her BIO! Thanks.

I spoke with the paralegal roughly 3:00 p.m. on Friday the Sep 12th when I spoke to this paralegal I also made her aware that I was new at this that I didn't know what I was doing. Nothing was said about a time frame of when I needed to turn in the documents that I freely willingly said that I had and was willing to send to them. So still unsure and unaware because she told me that they wouldn't be able to guide me when I spoke to an attorney about what to do if they wasn't able to help me. So I called a few more firms, got the same gest. Also still done my research the next day to see if this was the right option of pursuing legal action for my case which I found out I need an attorney but for different reasons on Saturday was still aligned to the firms legal knowledge and practice .So still was going to send all my informations to the three firms. I had spoken to 3 on Friday before all of them had closed for the the last business day of the week and I just found out that day what the insurance had decided and needed to speak to legal. Well I get from this HKM Employment Attorney on Sunday at 9:26 in the morning. Not even a little over 24 hours on a non-business day was rejected on the basis that I didn't respond in an adequate enough time. I was like wait a second a little over 24 hours just to make sure I got my cards all aligned. Was going to send it in on a Sunday on a non-business day and then I get this the morning of so I call them and basically the lady I spoke to said Well there's no reason why the attorney gave why they rejected you So I can't do anything and I told her I have it right here. They rejected me on the bases that I didn't respond in a timely manner. I explained it's just been a little over 24 hours on non-business days.she explained I'll have to leave this note for them and she explained I might get a response . I've then asked When do I expect a response? She responded with Three business days they usually respond. Why was I only given a little over 24 hours? Doesn't really make sense. So I thought back to the interview I had with the paralegal and the only question that was asked differently than the other three firms was my age and my race. Now thinking back I think I was rejected just on the the basis of my race, not the basis of my case. I don't even think they cared too look. I just think they seen the age and race and I was rejected. The other two firms did not give me a time frame and I have not gotten a rejection later on based on not giving them information in a timely manner and this is pretty sad if this firm is that way because I'm new to this. I have been done wrong and I've been injured just to be rejected on a timely manner and it was a little over 24 hours on a non-business day. Doesn't make sense I'll leave you all to your own thoughts who are reading this review and advice caution!!! Age and race should not be asked unless the case pertained to that said biasedness of age or race. My case was the basis of negligence of a company that caused my injury and The insurance adjuster was negligent in her investigation and that insurance adjuster's decision was not based on facts or actual documentation from the doctor and specialist notes or appointments.
