HIRE ANYONE BUT HER!! If I could give 0 stars I would. She takes your money, refuses to answer calls and emails, then keeps the original retainer and sends you an extra bill when you fire her and hire a competent attorney. I posted a negative review on the site "Avvo" about a year ago and see that it is not listed anymore- there are only 3 reviews and they are all 5 star. Hmmmm.

Deb is a wonderful family law attorney. She represented me through several custody battles over a span of 10 plus years. She has always put me and my kids best interest above anything else. She is truly a family focused lawyer. I recommend her to many people and she has always helped them out. If you need a good family/divorce attorney she is what you are looking for. I did not have much experience dealing with laws until I filed for divorce. I thought an attorney is an attorney, they know the laws and everything should be fine. But I was so wrong and I learned my lesson. It is very important you find an attorney who will fight for you. Debra is actually the second attorney I hired for my divorce case and I am very glad I found her. Debra is very sharp and thorough, more importantly she cares about her clients. Debra is an attorney you can trust that she will do everything possible to represent your interests.

I recently came to Debra six weeks before my custody trial in need of a new attorney with expertise in litigation. Debra took my case and, in that short amount of time, turned out a flawless execution in the courtroom. She is known for being an effective collaborator, but I know from personal experience that she is unbelievably tenacious in the courtroom and yields results that ensure positive outcomes for children at the center of such ordeals. I couldn't recommend a divorce/custody attorney more highly.

Debra has consistently gone above and beyond to help me get what was fair in my divorce. When I first met her I was severely clinically depressed with multiple hospitalizations. My ex had served me divorce papers in the hospital. Debra was the calm in the storm who convinced my tear stained face that I should fight for what is fair. It worked. She was able to negotiate a fair settlement in mediation, which my ex's lawyer fought after mediation. Debra stood up for me and the judge's written decision significantly praised Debra for her dedication to protecting me. The judge stated that the amount my ex was offering as a settlement would be an illusion of a settlement. When Debra recently went back to court with me to get more visitation (we did), my ex told the entire courtroom that Debra was the reason he hadn't been able to take advantage of me. She is. There have been at least 5 occasions where my bipolar condition has caused me to act inappropriately with Debra. On all occasions she was gracious, clear, and acted in my best interest. And she never held it against me. She is always professional and also very warm towards me and my family members who were taking care of me. She was happy to explain, answer questions, and make sure all three of us understood what was happening. She shared her personal life with us as if we were all friends, and we are.

When experiencing the need to utilize a Family Law attorney, it can be stressful. But Debra provide comfort, support, and understanding throughout every step of the process. She is extremely resourceful and experienced. I would highly recommend Debra to represent anyone in a Family Law case.

Debra has represented me since 2005 in a very volatile divorce involving children. Been back for modifications 4 times. She has always had mine and my children's best interests in mind.

Not to be trusted. She will not back you when you need it. Please be careful of her pre-judging you. I fired her.
