Holland elder law firm has been instrumental in helping my wife Stacy and I get thru the very difficult and hard process of dealing with elder care estate planning issues and medicaid nursing home approvals. We had one of the more complicated cases I do believe, but it has all worked for us so we can just concentrate on what is best for our family's health. Can't thank them enough.

My family used the Holland Elder Care Law team to help us when our previous attorneys suddenly closed shop without warning us and my Dad's Medicaid status was not renewed. Michael Holland and Martin Sabel did an excellent job gathering the information, filing the right forms and ultimately needed to bring the HHS of Texas to court for failing to make a timely determination of benefits. I am an attorney myself but this area of law is so convoluted and so tricky that you really need someone on your side who knows how all of this works and can navigate the waters safely. Last year was a very different with the COVID starting just as my mother in law got sick and had to go to a rehab facility for skilled nursing rehab, little did we know at that time that it was going to be turning into long term care for her. We knew that she would be needing 24 hour care that could only be provided there and then facing the financial stress that she didn't qualify for Medicaid. The nursing facility told us the Medicaid application had to be filled out within a week. At that time we decided to start looking for an attorney to help us with this very stressful process. When we met with Michael and he assured us that his law firm could handle this ( because this is what they do) and have her approved for Medicaid I still had my doubts.
