There are no words to adequately express my gratitude for the services I received during the course of my unique divorce in 2023/ 2024. Keith helped me with a joint custody case in 2022 when my original attorney, Christa Morton in Johnson City, completely dropped the ball. I had Christa for almost a year. I experienced missed calls and ignored emails. I specialize in tax law and IRS representation, so I ended up re-writing her original petition because she wrote something I knew would cause an issue with the other party. All for her to ignore my concerns and to simply file anyway with no evidence or basis for the claims she made against the other party. Needless to say, that caused unnecessary issues Well, I contacted Keith after getting nowhere with Christa, he took over my case, held her accountable for not treating me well, and what took her 10 months to do, he completed in less than two. With essentially 100% victory conditions obtained, I outlined for him originally in our consultation. Bonus: My case is not the norm, and I want to ensure that is made clear, but Keith also negotiated a 95% reduction in back child support that apparently I was supposed to pay. Several thousands of dollars down to pennies. I recommend all fathers to Keith who are serious about their child custody!

We’ve worked with several attorney’s in the area- Mr. Hopson was immediately different from the rest. Our experience ended up completely negative, ending with him having an unexplainable outburst in a meeting, yelling, red faced, etc. he was able to get our child support changed. Whatever transpired at the end was so strange we still don’t know what to make of it. A soft gentle man yelled at me in his office, and offered to relinquish our case- Over questions about our case. He then sent a bogus bill, (his staff had reported hours to us previously so we knew we were still under), his NEW bill said 2g OVER what we had already paid ($4500). When we spoke to him about it this via email for self protection- he “dropped it”. Maybe that was a generous move. But I did not perceive it as such. He was the best lawyer we had until…. We literally don’t know. He stopped communicating, stopped pressing forward, had an outburst in our office, and let us go (mutual decision). His office staff is above reproach. I hung in longer than I should have because his assistant is amazing. I can’t leave more stars because we shelled out money we didn’t have for results we didn’t get. Also interesting to note after this post was originally published, plethora of 5 star review suddenly popped up after years of minimal reviews 🧐
