My nightmare started a while ago and all this time the Huff team has been diligent, proactive, persistent and gave me hope where there was none. I don’t have all of their names but here are some of the incredible people and professionals who made the impossible become possible. Huff himself, while he will not sugar-code the truth you will appreciate his straight honesty at all times. Mr. Huff is a very sharp and experienced attorney. Always responding all texts and emails extremely quickly. Liza, the private investigator, I can’t say enough good things about her. Very thorough with her detailed work and king eye to see what others can’t. Mr David Garland undoubtedly made it possible for my son to walk out free and no bail required. An extraordinary and experienced attorney as well. Last but not least , the office staff always on point with all the paperwork and many other moving pieces part of this painful process. I’m eternally grateful to them all. Everyone pull very hard to make this happen with no doubt in my heart my son has the best team to get him out of this for good. God bless 🙏 Today Saturday, February 28, 2026 I am providing an update to my earlier review. Thank God this nightmare is finally over and with a very desirable outcome. It has been way stressful, painful, and, at times, very uncertain the fate of my son but at last we can put this behind us. I had a welfare case filed against me by the county, and Attorney Huff took on my case even though I didn’t have the full payment upfront. Since I get paid once a month, he was kind and compassionate enough to let me make monthly payments into a trust so he could still represent me while I worked toward paying off the full amount—which I was able to do before going to court. That kind of understanding and flexibility is rare, and I’m truly grateful for it. When it came time to appear in front of a judge, Attorney Weimer stepped in to represent me in person since he handles cases closer to Stockton, while Huff is based out of Hayward. Both attorneys were incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and thanks to them, my case was officially closed—and won—in 2025. Throughout the process, most of my communication was with Huff Legal’s amazing staff (sorry if I’m forgetting anyone)—Bianca, Sherry, and Mindy. Horribly unprofessional firm 0/10 don't bother with this place

Their intake "specialist" Sherry couldn't be more unprofessional. In urgent need of representation, she replied to my legalmatch.com post saying Mr. Huff was interested. She emailed me, then proceeded to call me multiple times after I clearly expressed the times, I was available, per the in site scheduling widget. Later, I returned her call, and she told me Mr. Huff "Didn't give her a reason" but couldn't represent my company in our case. That evening she sent me another email saying that she never heard from me and wants to know if I still need representation...Confused I messaged her back asking her to clarify. She does not respond. The next day, I reach out again ensuring my executive summary was included as an attachment for her reference as to clear up any confusion. She never responded. Completely and utterly frustrating considering I have a very time sensitive case. If Sherry Molander is still working at Huff Legal when you look for representation, absolutely do not rely on her scatterbrained unprofessional work ethic. Mr. Huff seems like he is very professional, accomplished and knowledgeable in all that he does. It is baffling to me that he would entrust his business and everything he has built in her obviously incapable hands.

Attorney Huff is personable, professional, and caring. He devotes time and attention to all of his clients and has the experience and professional connections with district attorneys to negotiate the best deals possible. From my perspective as an immigration attorney, I appreciate how he takes time to consider the immigration consequences of any potential plea deal, and explains it with great care to his clients.

As an attorney myself, I found attorney Huff to be very knowledgeable and experienced in the area of criminal law. If you're in California he is definitely worth talking to regarding a pending criminal case there.
