Have handled my case with BSA class action with good communication and superb expertise

I have to say that I could not be more disappointed with this law firm. I have been represented by them in a personal injury case. I have recently learned that they are charging me 40% instead of 33.3% which is reasonable and customary for cases that get settled out of court. The answer I received is that they only charge that to instate clients because they are bound by law. But the law allows them to charge 40% to clients out of state so that's what they do and that I should have read that in the contract. My response was that I did not realize that I needed to hire a lawyer to read the contract from my lawyer. One of the attorneys named Danielle told me that I would not have a settlement if It was not for them... not true!! So in closing if your out of state don't expect Hurley McKenna & Mertz, P.C. to have your best interest in mind.

I have read many of the reviews and it seems like I'm not the only one that has had a problem with this firm. They seem to tell you one thing and then do another they try and pass it off like it's not their fault and someone else is to blame. There fees are extremely high and unfair. They keep telling me it's up to the scouting settlement trust to get my money yet nothing ever happens. They are paying themselves with our money. I have contacted my local congressman as well as Senator Lindsey Graham about them. I will not stop until I get what is owed to me. I am contacting the United States Supreme Court next. I am one of the victims yet the lawyers and Barbara houser seem to be the only ones profiting from this. With our money. They don't care about us . It's all about how much money they can put into their own pockets. I'm fed up and will not rest until this is resolved fairly
