Why is it every time I call at 8:45 the robot says call back during business hours 8:30-12 and 1-4:30. Ma'am this is business hours 🤷‍♀️

Response from owner

Sorry, I will follow up and send your review to the office administrator. There is an automated phone tree that says to press one for child support and two for all other business, such as criminal cases. If the "office closed" message was up instead then it's possible the phone receptionist had not turned it on yet that day.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the handling of our stolen vehicle case, which was submitted to the prosecutor’s office in February. It has now been over two months, and there has been no communication or progress on the matter. The lack of updates or action is frustrating and unacceptable. We have identified the suspect, but we cannot proceed with an arrest due to the absence of a warrant. This delay is not only hindering justice but is also causing severe financial strain for those involved, as the stolen vehicle is their primary source of income. The delay has been far too long, and this issue is critical for the affected individuals. Immediate action is needed to issue a warrant and move forward with the case. The continued lack of progress is disappointing and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I strongly urge the prosecutor’s office to prioritize this case and take swift action.

Response from owner

Sorry and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office for an update on your case. Bella Jones, victim's rights advocate for juvenile cases; ijones@ingham.org, 517-483-6255

Update 2.26.25 - after more reflection, it's not their fault that my husband died, but I still felt ignored and belittled. Changed rating from a 1 to a 3. Please be kinder. 🖤 Original review: I begged the prosecutors office for help and my pleas were ignored. Now my husband is dead. Thanks for ignoring and belittling victims. Your victim "advocates" are a joke and made me feel terrible for asking for help (when they responded at all). His dad said he'd be alive if I never called the police. We'll never know. All I do know is he is dead and I begged your office for help. RIP David Karl Lehmann

I have been searching for the status of the serious felony case involving State Representative Neil Friske who was arrested (and released, pending indictment) more than one month ago. The case involved a firearms, violence, and an attck on a woman. The lack of news in a case that earned national news coverage is a fact that lend itself to suggestions of preferential treatment for Representative Friske.

Response from owner

The case is currently being handled by the Michigan Attorney General's office due to potential offenses in multiple county jurisdictions

Witness management emailed the prosecutor, but there was no response, even after a week. He never responded at ALL. A couple of times, when I tried to call, the automatic answering hung up on me or didn't work correctly. They do not get back to you if you leave a message, even.

Response from owner

The Prosecutor's Office would like to address your concerns, but we have not been able to match this to a case file. If you could provide the name of the offender, we can look into this issue further. prosecutorsoffice@ingham.org is the contact email for the office.

The prosecutor took his time to explain things to me that I didn’t know and may have been hard for me to process and understand I had an attitude he didn’t he just offered his help thanks

I’ve been calling a couple of times a week to see if there are any updates to our case and I always seem to get the same lady answering the phone. She is the nicest, most helpful person ever! I wish everyone who worked with the public treated people the way she does. She is always so patient and goes above and beyond!

Ingham county prosecutor's office takes the position that people with mental illness should all be locked up. They have coerced, threatened, and harassed victims as a means to further their political agenda, even at the cost of the safety and well-being of victims. You have utterly failed the people you claim to serve and protect.

Carol, Democrats cause the overwhelming amount of mass shootings in this country and shootings in general. It’s not wise to follow the changes they want to have made and you learned that the hard way unfortunately costing people their lives. You need to resign you are a disgrace to the state of Michigan, and because of your horrible legal changes you helped facilitate the shooting at Michigan State

Response from owner

Carol. You Let This Mentally ILL Person Of Color With A Weapon On A Reduced Sentence Of A Weapons Charge To Roam Michigan Streets. Great Job. You Share In The Accountability Of This Tragic Event. Preventable. Tragic. But Your Politically In Step With Woke Society. God Have Mercy On Your Soul.
