J. Don Carter & Associates PC

I consider Mr Carter to be one of the best attorneys in Tarrant county.. he's the only reason I'm not in prison right now. He has handled a couple of cases of mine over the years and I'm so thankful to have had him on my side. It's really hard to put a price on your freedom but I would hire Mr Carter again in a heartbeat if I ever got in more trouble. Heartfelt thanks to Mr Carter and his team. If you want to stay out of prison this is the man you want to hire. I Absolutely recommend.

First things first yes I 100 percent recommend! . They helped me drop a Dwi probation case in JOHNSON COUNTY . I’m in shock and they worked with me with payments ! Run away! Hire >> Edward G. Jones instead!!! This fool is in bed with the Office of the District Attorney! He tried for longer than a year to scare me into taking a plea and after I refused for the um-teenth time, Carter told me I was making a foolish mistake that I would regret / the prosecutor was taken off my [5] cases / and Carter withdrew on the exact same day—That stunt delayed my cases and kept me in the system for another 362 days! [Hint] Ed Jones got my cases dismissed... Oh, and Carter refused to refund ANY portion of the $18,000 I paid him in advance / ignored my request for a detailed accounting and copy of the signed fee agreement / and after a year and a half...still has not returned my complete client file! I currently have an active State Bar grievance pending against him. Carter has now hired a retired judge as his attorney to try and help him avoid disbarment. [Btw, Carter's attorney/retired judge ALSO served 17 yrs in Tarrant Co. as an Asst. DA—go figure!] Note: I was referred to Mr. Carter by a mutual friend whom Carter has known 20+ years, so if he'll cheat and betray me—imagine what he'll do to you? I promise you that the State has plenty of attorneys and if you hire Don Carter, they'll have one more—at your cost. [At least you know the prosecutors aren't on your side.] Geez...Google! People are going to think this fool deserves 1-star? Maybe I can get my star back at the conclusion of the grievance process! Hire >> Ed Jones!!!

I have used Don Carter since 1985. Could not be happier. He even took one on this time that he really doesn't practice in, and he was still able to keep the Wolves off my back. Don Carter's assistant, Cilia. She is the nicest lady ever. Everytime I get off the phone from her I'm always feeling so much better. What a great team they make.

I really don’t have enough words to explain how great don carter and Celia are , from the first meeting to the last court date these guys did nothing but make me feel comfortable about my case and did everything and more to help me get the best possible outcome . They are very professional and even with all the clients they have , you won’t just feel like another client .. mr carter gave me advice on being a better man and it was greatly appreciated .. i don’t intend on needing their services again but I’d recommend them to anyone.. if you need a attorney these people are the best ! Could be nicer to a person in a electric wheelchair

Worthless. Paid $2000 for nothing. Court appointed atty. would of done a better job. Stole $2000 from my mom. Told her he would get me reinstated no problem. Did absolutly nothing in my case of probation voilation. Spend your money elsewhere.
