I slipped on icy stairs at a store and hurt my back real bad, felt dumb even calling a lawyer cuz I thought they’d laugh at me. But the folks in the Los angles office didn’t judge me at all, they just listened and said I had a case. They handled the insurance mess and I got my medical paid for, which was a huge relief. I’m glad I didn’t just keep quiet about it!! They’re just… human, you know? The Los Angeles office people would check in on me even when nothing new was happening, just asking how I was doing. That doesn’t sound like much but when you’re stressed it’s huge. I’ve had doctors who don’t even do that.
