Absolutely 100% impressed with Atty Mathews and his staff . Direct, smart and dependable. They were honest with me from the start pertaining my concerns. This lawyer sure has a nice professional well written website that makes you think you're surely about to have one excellent lawyer fighting for you. However once you retain this law firm and get to actually talk to him over the phone from that day on you will have to ask his Paralegal Leisyl over and over to ask him to give you a call if you have any questions and you will soon see that you have made a bad mistake to hire Mr. Matthew's. Don't believe me then see for yourself. I absolutely think he overcharged me and did the bare minimum to work on my case or to fight for my rights. There isn't enough room here to write all that I want to say, so I will most likely have to write more reviews on other sites. I niceley asked for my money back for all the things that I feel were not done right with my case and he told me he wouldn't be issuing me any refund. He lost his emotions while we were meeting with the OCRC investigator right in the middle of me talking to her and he told me to go out into the hallway and proceeded to talk to me like I was a two year old kid. I will be filing a complaint with the bar association and trying to get my money back. Former OCRC investigator, who's won lots of money for clients, he's in the Super Lawyers magazine, his law office shows clients compassion and blah , blah ,blah. Oh I drank the Kool aid when I read all that and thought wow I sure got me a good lawyer now. We'll see how it works out for you if you retain this lawyer. “SAVE YOUR MONEY” I Hope he frames the money he got from me and can feel proud of how very little he did to fight for me. Then his paralegal tells me don’t worry even if you lose your OCRC decision Jason will still appeal it. I said I’m not paying anymore money to him to appeal anything and she writes back , I didn’t say anything about money. Then when I get the decision back from the OCRC he says he will appeal it for me for 500 dollars , to appeal the OCRC decision and then 500 more if I wanted him to file for the EEOC to review it also. Then told me if I wanted to sue the Employer which is a Fortune 500 Company that he would need ten grand down and it may cost 40 or 50 grand to fight it. None of that he told me when I originally hired him to file the Charge of discrimination with the OCRC. I feel he for sure overcharged me. This guy knew I had been unjustly terminated from my job for almost two years and charged me a lot of money to file a charge that you can file yourself for free. I tried my best to be nice to him and his paralegal , but I had a gut feeling that day that I had to retain him and asked his paralegal if I could retain him in person snd talk to him and she said no, Jason doesn’t meet with people she said so I had to pay him over the phone and I knew then I had made a bad decision to retain him.

Engineers Run! Matt Schultz at our first meeting said Engineers are hard to work with (me). He treated me like a trouble maker supporting the defense attorney (his colleague) over me. Matt waited at mediation to tell me, my case had weakened over information he found 3 months earlier. Matt Schulz had a tendency to lie to me in verbal communication.
