I was in a real pickle. Jared was the only attorney that I trusted with my complicated, high-conflict child support case. I had a hearing in less than a week that I suddenly needed representation for upon reading the opposing parties exhibit submissions. Jared gifted me a free phone consult that got me through the hearing without him being there. He would have attended but he had an international trip planned that he said would not be logistically possible. I could tell he really thought it through trying to make representing me work, but couldn't. He came off as honest, knowledgeable & caring. My child support support hearing was successful! I cannot say enough good things about Jared. He took on my boyfriends case after his local lawyer on kauai had dropped him as a client. Jared jumped right in and handled business with professionalism and was quick! He fixed ALL the mistakes the previous lawyer made, he was quick to answer any emails/calls/ questions, and really fought for his client. He was extremely professional and knowledgable in court. I have worked with Jared since 2021 (this review is long overdue) for a complex custody case with multiple motions across countries. Without over communicating, Jared is very knowledgeable, fair with the best interests of my children in mind. Last but not least, he is a great person to work with. He is the Family Law attorney you want to hire.

He won’t nickel and dime you nor have you rack up unnecessary lawyer fees. He’s going to get the job done without all the unnecessary back and forth. He will advise you with his extensive experience. He has been invaluable in helping me get my divorce finalized in less than 6 months. I cannot say enough good things about Jared. I needed a lawyer for a relocation/custody battle, when I obtained Jared he immediately went to work! He was very smart with his filings and examples in court. When our court date arrived he was able to resolve things very quickly in my favor and Handled everything how I wanted. He will fight for you. I will be using him in the future if needed.

Jared was a phenomenal lawyer throughout the entire process of working with him. When my former husband and I were looking to process our amicable divorce, we knew we wanted to work with a lawyer that could help us keep the process clean and drama free. I had a very difficult divorce case that started out in a different state and lasted years. I thought I'd represent myself first to save $ but it became evident I needed legal representation. After calling around probably 80% of the lawyers on Oahu, I was getting charged an arm and a leg and most attorneys had me waiting for days before I could even talk to them. Once I finally talked with them (350$ consultation later) they'd tell me they wont take my case because it was "too difficult" and they didn't want to ruin their good statistic... When I called Jaw Legal, Jared answered the phone right away, I couldn't believe it. He patiently heard my entire divorce situation and was able to wrap his mind around it all in just 30 minutes right there and then. I was impressed. This guy is sharp. In addition, his rates were the BEST rates anyone has offered me and in the end he provided 5 start service. He is a REAL person... not a "chin up, schedule an appointment with me and ill think about it" kind of guy. Much respect. At the end of it all, he helped me beat our TRO, helped me lower the courts imposed monthly obligations, and ultimately helped me reunite with my kids and finish the divorce. I feel like since Jared came on board, we completely turned the tables around and ultimately WON (imo) the seemingly impossible divorce case. I would recommend him to anyone who is needing help. This guy will stay up until midnight exchanging emails with a spicy ex (I don't know how many lawyers will do that.)
