Jeremiah A. Denton III

I like to start off by saying everyone in his office was very polite and helpful, but I say this with the deepest concern I paid $300 for a consultation that led nowhere, he didn't even have a military discount. So to anyone needing help from a lawyer here in Virginia or in any one of the Tri-State areas, if you need to talk to a lawyer always go to the one that has free consultation. Mr Jeremiah Denton lll, he was okay with the news that he had given me, why? Either or, he was already paid and I was very polite and very disappointed because he specifically told me it would cost me more money than what the case would be worth. So you tell me? 15 minutes spent with a lawyer at $300 a pop for him to tell you there was nothing he could do, so my personal opinion is to go with a lawyer with free consultation and does it get paid until he wins the case. Thank you for your time, I'm just sharing good advice to people that might really need lawyers and don't necessarily have the collateral to put up for it at the moment.

Where do I begin? I had called numerous lawyers after suffering an exceptionally traumatic event at the hand of a professional we are all supposed to be able to trust! Each law firm I had reached out to said, and I quote, "This is a he-said she-said situation, you don't have a case." Some firms wouldn't even allow me to finish informing them of what happened to me! Then, I stumbled upon Mr. Jerry Denton, III. Right away I could tell he was different from ALL the rest, just in his first few sentences he spoke! Mr. Denton spoke with honest care and concern. He listened. He asked thoughtful questions. He took notes. He took his time to asorb the information of this awful nightmare I was forced to live. And, with sensitivity, Mr. Denton asked questions to probe into more of the details. Throughout my entire case Mr. Denton turned over every rock and pebble to fight for me! He's a lawyer who really digs in and investigates for his clients. Not just in the laws and similar cases that have gone through the courts before me, but outside the four walls of his office. Whereas, Most lawyers don't ever leave their desks, Mr. Denton drove roughly an hour just to place his feet into my footprints so he could see the nightmare I was living from MY perspective. I can certainly attest, when Mr. Denton takes on a case, he takes it into his heart! Synonymously as does his outstanding team, Carolyn, Tori, and Chris. I must share, I am a person who truly fears any ounce of confrontation; but, each one of them (from Mr. Denton to team) were there for me along the way, providing sincere words of encouragement and strength during my weakest and most-feared moments. I'm sure going to miss working with them, but I'm so happy I can start to live my life again because of this amazing firm! I, unquestionably, see why Mr. Jerry Denton, III has been selected as a Super Lawyer for so many years in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His Superior wits, honesty, and heart he brings to the table is bar none! But, Mr. Denton is more than a Super Lawyer--in my book he is a Super Hero. Thank you to the Law Office of Jeremiah A. Denton III. I am forever grateful.

Mr. Denton and his team were fantastic to work with. They were all professional, friendly, and took care of everything for me from start to finish. I'll continue to use them for all of my legal needs in the future.

I was introducing myself on the phone to the receptionist, and trying to explain why I would like to set up an appointment, the receptionist interrupted me in the middle of my sentence and said no thank you and hung up.

Staff is not good... I tried several times to speak with Mr. Denton and got referred or hung up on.

This is the absolute worst law office that I have ever contacted. I would never recommend them. They showed zero class in speaking with me. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this law office nor Jeremiah Denton.

Jake is the kind of attorney we hope for when we need legal advice. My cases were complicated. Jake made sure I understood the caveats of going to trial. Jake is kind but always tells you "like it is!" Jake is an awesome, well prepared litigator and disarmed the opposition with the truth and "class!" Jeremiah A Denton IV is "real attorney" with a high degree of ethics.

Lorna, is a very disrespectful secretary and this attorney may have great experience in his specialty but you can't make it past Lona his deeply dismissive and disorderly secretary and I will make sure that I post this on every media website there is.

Never returned my calls..

I found myself needed Mr. Jake Denton's services when I was being sued for libel and defamation. Mr. Denton took the time to talk to me on the phone and at my appointment. He is very thorough and did his homework before we got to the courtroom. I was very pleased with the way things turned out and would use him again. Even though, I hope never need his services again. His legal assistant, Kem, was very thorough too. I appreciated her assistance through these last few months.

Jerry represented me in a very complicated wrongful death case. He and his team were extremely professional and hard working....left "no stone unturned" as the saying goes. I am very satisfied with the great job he did, and highly recommend him for any legal issues.
