I had one of the worst experiences of my life when I hired Jennifer Sparda from Mitchell and Davis. While going through a divorce I was charged over three times the amount that my ex was for basically nothing. 37 thousand plus for nothing! They are even trying to charge me more after I parted ways with them. So if you like giving away hard earned money this firm is the place to go! I would have been way better off representing myself!This was one of the least complex cases that a divorce could be. Our children were grown. Only issues were selling and dividing proceeds from a home and retirement. My ex even was able to take all community property that she wanted before I was allowed to enter the home before it was sold. Nothing was done on my behalf for community property. Perhaps this was Jennifer Spardas first case. I strongly recommend any other attorny!

Atty. Jed Davis's reputation precedes him as a past President of the MCPIR (Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting) and a US Navy JAG corps officer as well. People with a representation need are well-advised to park directly at his door on Winthrop Street!

Do not hire Jed Davis . For 1 rarely will he or his office will not return your calls on important matters . Also I had to educate him on wills and trust . Im the 1 who hired him to go after my black sheep brother to help my x sister inlaw get her the money that's she's owed . His assistant later on told me she could not talk to me about the case . What a messed up outfit . Guess it's time to take Jed to court myself . He's costed me tens of thousands . Save your money and hire someone who knows what they are doing .

Jed Davis has been my counselor and attorney since 1991when he counselled me on matters of my father's estate. Jed Davis is exceptional he is definately on top of things and truly fights for his clients i believe he goes above and beyond what is expected.
