Mr. Geller represented me in my worker’s compensation case.He got me a deposition in about eight months after I filed the claim and a settlement offer in about 9 months. He also made my ex employer fund one more year of EDD benefits got me a voucher to learn different trade. More over his team helped me set up my EDD account in the beginning of case. I had a Workmen’s Comp. case with a fire sprinkler company out of Poway they laid me off due to my injury. I called an old friend of mine that was a lawyer and he recommended Joel Geller. It approximately took a year to get my settlement I was paid for my time off of work I had surgery done on my right arm got a settlement in the end and a voucher to go back to school and learn a different trade. From the day that I met him I felt that I was in good hands. Thanks to him everything worked out. I highly recommend him.

Read the reviews of others. Personally, I found him to be a great Attorney on worker's comp case for me. It was a long drawn out process. And it was a fight with the workers comp insurance company. He really did fight for me. Though it may seem like he was not, but behind the scenes, he was. Joel made sure that I also understood that it really came down to my decision in everything. Step by step on the whole process. He also got back to me when I had questions, though it might take some time. I could make an appointment with him and be able to talk with him. Yes he will lay out everything, yes he will go over everything again and again. That is for your benefit. He wants to make sure you understand fully what is going on. I learned a great deal. In the end of the case, Joel did way better than I thought. His knowledge of the law was fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone. Fantastic attorney on the law practices and procedures.

I always knew what was going on in my case. From the moment I first met him to discuss everything I felt I was in good hands . 2 years later everything is done, I'll be starting my vocational training soon and I'm happy with what I got. not once did I ever feel he wasnt fighting for me. He’s currently handling my WC case. I started in January and haven’t had an update, no returned emails, and pure attitude from the assistant. Had 2 meetings after the first meeting no contact then when I voiced concerns I was the one at fault for not being patient. Second meeting it was like he didn’t remember what my case was about and kept cutting me off when I tried to speak.

I give Joel Geller five stars because he deserves them. His knowledge of current and applicable workers compensation law is second to none. Extreme changes in state law have been most favorable to the employers ,insurance and the state. Joel knows what it takes to get the job done when it seems to be stacked against you. Be patient because I will tell you that, "My goals were fully met in a reasonable amount of time" I am happy I hired Joel Geller.

Mr. Geller started off great, nice and professional. He explain the process by drawing out the steps. After the first meeting it went downhill. It was impossible to get him on the phone, the emails were answered by legal secretary not so nicely. The predeposition meeting was filled with the same info as the first meeting except he said “you have a good case” and quoted a 75k settlement. On the depo date the company wanted to settle and he started with a 27.5k amount. I told him my biggest concern was I didn’t want to lose my long term disability or have to offset that money by the workers comp settlement. When the settlement agreement was reached he came in with final paperwork, I didn’t get to read through it myself- rather he went page by page keeping it out of my reach. When I would ask a question he would just draw the same step by step diagram over and over. Basically in the end he told me to commit insurance fraud not even telling my long term disability, in the end it did effect it so I just traded it for workers comp payout and have to budget money for next 2 years and gave him his money but I end up worse off. This was long if you are still reading this, I’d find a different lawyer. Tho you might get money quickly he is only out for himself and doesn’t care what happen/happens to you!

Best workman's compensation attorney in East County!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I can't tell if Mr. Geller is a good Worker's Compensation Lawyer or not. He is currently representing me, and I cannot get a return phone call, let alone any status of what's going on with my case. Not sure if I made the right choice in Lawyers. Its pretty bad when a Lawyer has been handling your case for several months, and you never hear anything from him or any status of your case. I'm not sure if this guy is even working on my case at this point.

I had met with Mr Geller for an on going case with the WC; I was so impressed with his knowledge and experties and patience and answered every and all questions I had. The education he presented to me with my case is overwhelming and extremely benefiting to the case I greatly appreciate all the help and the knowledge he provided me. Job well done and I highly recommend him to any workers compensation or maybe other cases that he may have experience in 👍👍
