I am so very grateful the John Malek Law Group, their Haley came at exactly at the time I needed and they took care of all of the legal paperwork and court proceedings I would have had no idea how to take care of. I also wanted to personally thank the paralegal working on my case Jaimie. She was my main outlet for answering my questions, and updating me on what I needed to do, very helpful. There were several times where I needed answers, her professional manner and unfailing service helped me feel valued and well cared for.

I have use Joh Malek for two different cases. WORST LAW FIRM EVER The first one I ended up settling for a small fine, but I ended up paying him $1,400 more than what the fine was. There also was very little communication telling me what was going on... I had to take time off work several times for court and I kept getting shuffled around to different attorneys that never showed up to the hearings until it went to trail. So I lost the case, I ended taking alot of time off work and I ended up paying him $1,400 more than what I paid the court fine... This company flat out ripped me off in several ways... The second case he waited and waited for many years having time to study the law on removing charges from record. He did not study enough and charged me $3,000 to get charges removed off record. I ended up loosing the case because he did not study his paperwork properly and he got $3,000 from me for free.. It says right in the paperwork in BOLD letter violent charges can't be removed until 10 years after the last conviction.. Here they also did not have good communication with me telling me what is going on. On either case did they call ne back when I called them.. I could never talk to my attorney about the case.. once ir twice was i ever able to talk to him in person. I do not recommend anyone to use this attorney unless you are down to giving him money and loosing the case/s... WORST ATTORNEY'S/ LAW FIRM EVER.. THEY WILL NOT SHOW UP TO YOUR HEARING, TAKE YOUR MONEY, NOT FIGHT YOUR CASE/S, NOT COMMUNICATE, NOT CALL YOU BACK, NOT STUDY THE CASES... THIS LAW FIRM IS ABOUT THE MONEY AND NOT WINING CASES

I got the result i wanted overall. The communication was a little lack luster. My first day of court i had no idea who my attorney was. They did well with payments and I got my result i wanted.

Angie did a wonderful job as my paralegal. If I had a question she was right on it within 15 min. If it was a bigger question for John she would get back to me later that day or first thing the next morning. I’ve had the worst experience with this law firm. I hired them last summer to represent me in fighting a traffic infraction, and I have been unable to get a hold of anyone there throughout this entire process. I have gone to court more than three times, and each time they requested a continuance. Communication has been nonexistent. After months of not hearing back, JOHN MALEK finally called me and acknowledged that no one was responding to me and said he would take over my case. At least he validated my concerns; however, he dropped my case and handed me off to BEN MASON, who has the worst communication skills. BEN MASON is completely unprofessional and has no idea what he’s doing. I genuinely do not know how he became a lawyer. He called me one time to discuss my case, but there was no strategy or game plan before court. When court dates happen, they never contact me beforehand to discuss anything—they just show up 10, 15, or 20 minutes late to my court and wing it. As a result, nothing ever gets accomplished. My most recent court date was last Friday, and I still haven’t heard a single word from them. I also received no communication leading up to that court date. Since then, I have called more than enough times and have not received a single call back. This has been an absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. The lack of communication, preparation, and professionalism from the John Malek Law Firm altogether—especially from BEN MASON—is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere. The sad thing is, I have trial on January 30th and don’t know what to expect from the lawyers I paid to represent me.

I am extremely happy with the representation I received from John Malek Law Group. They handled a traffic citation for me I received when traveling and took care of everything in a very prompt and fair manner saving me from having to fly thousands of miles back and forth to make court appearances by myself. Worst experience ever. I hired this company cause they advertise they are Veteran friendly. I'm retired military and a disabled vet. I was charged with misdemeanor battery. Later plead guilty to disturbing the peace. My attorney was Jake Sommers. Never called me day before my sentencing to go over what to expect. Never met me in person. I live 40 mile from Idaho Falls. Found out a few days before sentencing that Jake would not be at court in person, but via Zoom TV. On the day of sentencing there was a totally different attorney whom I've never seen or spoke to. Can't imagine he knew anything about my case. Paid this firm 3000 dollars for what I expect they maybe spent two-three hours total on my case. I could have and should have represented myself. I tried for Public Defender, Judge said I made too much money. 64 years old first time i've ever been in any trouble. Don't bother posting your b.s. reply, I won't believe anything you say. Should get a partial refund.
