John Miller Carroll is an amazing criminal defense attorney, I was charged with possession of cocaine and was being offered probation. Due to past negative experiences while on supervision ending in revocation I rejected probation. The District Attorney wanted me to receive 1 year in county jail, John made an argument and I received a punishment half of that length plus good time and Huber work release. He’s never prepared, his facts are mixed up & wrong, & he seems money hungry. I don’t know how he’s still getting business. Thankfully the person who was facing 10 yrs in prison, had such an understanding, fair, judge Yadira Rein. Without her as the judge I think she’d be going to prison due to John’s lazy job as a paid lawyer!

Didn't fight to get less time for revocation or OWI5. Didn't try to pled my time down at all. Hardly talked to between in person or on the phone. Shows up late for court. Didn't get me a plea deal with DA. Just didn't put no effort into my case at all. Will not recommend to anyone. Plus my wife tried to ask a question why my fine is showing at 1270. When the judge said 1000 and all he says she went very low. Didn't fight to get me any credit for time I sat before revocated on another case. For the kind of money paid it was a waist amd wish we could have hired someone else.

Straight trash. All of his bad reviews are true and accurate. Gets his facts mixed up. Money hungry. He'll miss court dates and the judge will have their assistant try and find where he's at. I wish I would've read his reviews before i retained him. Money down the drain

Horrible attorney! Charged me a ton to take a case to trial and quit responding to me and took a plea without my consent. I fired him and he would not return my trial fee. Do not trust him! He comes across as professional but will hang you out to dry! I hired another attorney and won my case.
