Mr. Johnson was very understanding and down to earth. He did everything he could in order to help me in my situation with dealing with custody mediation. He was able to not take sides and look at the facts and character of each party involved without being biased. He was able to see what was best for the children and was able to see the effort I continuously put into wanting to be in my kids lives as well as the effort to better myself as a whole. Mr. Johnson was observant and empathetic towards someone trying to do what’s right and showing this not only with their words but with their actions. I would highly recommend him. - Michael Funkhouser

Awful experience with Tom Norton. He double charged me once to make a call to me to tell me he was mailing a letter and once to mail the letter. Seriously. When I called inquiring about it his receptionist/biller was extremely rude on the phone. Will never use him or recommend him to anyone. This is what gives lawyers a bad name.

This was my deceased mom and step-dad's estate attorney firm. I'm upset at the extreme degree of ineffectiveness, ineptitude, gaslighting, and misogyny displayed by this office. I just got off the phone with Mr. Johnson, who first sends me an apology letter, then when I call him, acts as though this is all new information. He spoke to me as if I were a child when I requested paperwork be drawn up AGAIN, and acted as though this was our first interaction, though we have spoken multiple times, and I've left copious messages, etc. in the past month since my mom's death. Erroneously, Mr. Johnson also tried to blame the lack of communication from his office on my legally blind uncle Gary, even though Mr. Johnson, Cheryl Bolin, and Brian Carroll all have his contact information. I have multiple emails as evidence.

My mother, my aunt, and I have all used this firm. Everyone is very helpful during some of the worst times in your life. Nice to feel well-cared for.

Worst experience ever! I would give a zero star if I could. Tom Norton spoke to my husband once and me once on the phone for less than 20 minutes. Never returned my calls. Generated a letter. Was supposed to send one to the other party and one to me. Charged my husband over $200 for this. Didn’t send my copy so I had to call to ask about it. They sent it then the following month I received an additional bill for $63.00 for sending me my copy that I was supposed to get the first time. I don’t understand how being an attorney gives you the right to continually charge, not to mention overcharge for services. I would call and protest but I don’t want to be charged for that. You can’t not pay it because then they’ll sue you and charge you double for their services. Please don’t read this Tom I don’t want to be billed for your time for that too. Yes I’m a little pissed. Never again will I use or recommend your company.

I would not recommend Thomas Norton. Overpriced, information not helpful. I wanted to find out if he had a conflict of interest in the matter I was interested in, and was charged for that call.
