Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Services and Disrespect Toward Military Clients Update: I was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal follow-up from one of the owners after my initial post. He reached out to offer a sincere apology regarding how my inquiry was handled. He kindly explained that he is a former military member himself and that the confusion stemmed from outdated or incorrect information listed on the Nebraska State Bar’s website. It was never their intention to turn anyone away unfairly, and he acknowledged that the referral provided was to a firm that unfortunately does not handle contractual disputes. I truly appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to make things right — it speaks highly of his character and the firm's commitment to integrity. Original Post: I am deeply disappointed with Johnson Flodman Guenzel & Wasserburger LLP in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their website proudly advertises services in contractual law, yet when I reached out for help regarding a clear contractual issue, they outright refused to assist. Even worse, as a military member, I expected at least a basic level of respect and consideration — instead, I was turned away without so much as a genuine explanation. Their public image does not match their actual behavior. If you are a military member, veteran, or someone who needs legal help based on what their website claims they offer, do not waste your time here. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a firm publicly advertise expertise and support, but in reality, show selective interest and dismiss those who serve. False advertising and dismissiveness toward service members is unacceptable — and it deserves to be called out.

Looking back on my divorce of 17 years ago i chose to edit my review. Based on the situation my ex wife left me in they did a fine job. Response times and thoroughness got much better as time went on. Steve F was always willing to share his insight and it all worked out.

Contacted Steve Guenzel nearly 3 weeks ago for what he assured me was a 'very simple' document. Mind you - my ability to handle pressing matters is dependent on this 'very simple' document. I called today to follow up as I've not heard from a single person, or seen this document and was transferred to Steve with no issues. Keep in mind, when I asked to speak with him, I wasn't told "he's with a client rn can i have him give you a call back' or 'he's unavailable at the moment, can I take a message or may there's something I can help you with' ... it was "Sure! One moment!" - Steve quickly picked the phone up but as soon as he realized this call was about a dropped ball .. he quickly (and somewhat rudely) ushered me off saying he was busy and he'd have someone reach out. At the end of the day - I still have not heard from anyone at this office. Terribly disappointed at the time this man has wasted after assuring me that this was a 'very simple document' and there wouldn't be any problem at all with it.

Totally recommend for all your legal needs. Steve and Carrie were great. Can't thank them enough for all they have done!

I can authentically say that this Is an incredible law firm with compassionate kind and ethical people. I knew from the second that I talked to Stephanie on the phone that she was a person and lawyer of high integrity. Other lawyers very much wasted my time some attorneys even quoted six times what she did to get something done and you wouldn’t be able to get them on phone. She very much made herself available to me when I called (She even called me today on her birthday personally to tell me that my case was resolved) take it from my experience you can not find a better team then this! Many people try to drag it out and Ms. Flodman the opposite she wants to get it done for you and she did for me! Thank you again! I would give 100 stars if I could!
