So greatful as a single mom to find the perfect lawyer to represent me and my kids to advocate for them to have a safe space and ability to grow and prosper. I want my kids to have a healthy relationship with their dad but at this time the split custody is not working for the kids and he is fighting to get more custody, not less and not listening to or acknowledging the children as human beings or that they have their own lives and schedules at the ages of 13 and 16. If he was doing even 1/10 of what a co-parents should do to contribute I would not be taking him to court. My lawyer is kind and considerate and yet knows how to advocate properly for my children through the court system. If it were up to me and the lawyer we would simply say the kids like to be here and I'm doing great but since we have to prove irreparable harm we will be moving forward as kindly and as assertively as needed but these kids in a safe space in every way.
