In October and December of 2025 I went to trial twice with Attorney Joseph Gulino and I must say I was beyond pleased with the outcome of my case. I was facing up to 20yrs for a Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Intent Sell charge. The results of my first trial in October 2025 was a verdict of NOT GUILTY on the Intent to Sell and a HUNG JURY on the Criminal Possession charge. Then in December 2025 for the 2nd trial, Attorney Gulino exposed more of the inconsistencies in my case resulting in another HUNG JURY with majority of the verdict leaning in my favor with a 9/3 split. On February 19, 2025 we're scheduled to appear in front on the judge presiding over my case to address potentially getting my case dismissed based on the relentless approach of my attorney "Let'em Go Joe" Gulino to fight for my FREEDOM and CIVIL RIGHTS. I highly recommend this guy if you're looking for an attorney that fights for what the justice system was designed for.

Joseph Gulino is a criminal defense lawyer who has ventured into divorce cases and has no idea what he is doing. This guy has been unprofessional and has not shown up for his clients' Zoom meetings, and when he does, he is late. He tells his client things to prolong the divorce case and claims it is in his client's best interest. I've personally tried to resolve my case multiple times, but this man intentionally refuses to settle even though he is getting exactly what his client asks for. My best advice is to find a big law firm to represent you. He is all talk and no action.
This is not a client but is a verbally abusive cop spouse of a client who when he tried to be aggressive towards me and my client on the zoom meeting (after I told him any settlement could not move forward unless I first saw the various retirement account statements), I put him in his place and so he has now responded with a fake one star review. If anything, I should thank him because I represented my client so well, this aggressive and verbally abusive spouse who my client is divorcing (he has cursed me out on the zoom meeting and called me multiple times despite being told this was improper since he has his own attorney), an individual who is a cop no less and who should know better and be better, took time out of his day to post about it. Thank you for your service sir!<br><br>Oh and while he blames me for delays in settling by demanding the most basic financial discovery that is required in a divorce case, the truth is he was deployed soon after commencement as he is also in the military so we waited for his return as required, and he has since fired his first lawyer, is now not happy with his second and has filed for a court appearance, all because he was mad we might have to value his retirement before agreeing to waive it and spousal support. Also, I have been practicing divorce law for 16 years, the same amount of time I have been doing criminal defense work and one zoom meeting had to be cancelled and rescheduled last minute because I was in a prior meeting that ran unexpectedly long. The rescheduled meeting took place within 10 days of the original date.
Joe was exceptional to work with. He handled my case with efficiency, clarity, and professionalism—getting it fully dismissed before I even stepped foot in the courtroom. I truly appreciated how communicative and detail-oriented he was.
In response to my earlier review let me continue, (there was a very lengthy response) we are not speaking on the same individual and that goes to show he has multiple clients that are dissatisfied with his service and how he ignores his clients. The individual that Joesph represented that I am referring too was sentenced back In Oct 2024 with only pending charges, and Joesph was supposed to file and appeal, in which he waited months to do so and lied about the process and the documentation for months. Moving forward pass the neglect of the appeal. The first plea offer for his charges was 3 years, it was turned down due to lack of communication about the charges and within 2 weeks it went to a 9 year plea offer. He never sent the incarcerated client anything, he even told the client he sent his information to another client by mistake. This man wasn’t represented properly he was forced to take a plea because he didn’t want to take it to trial. The lack of communication on all aspects, is unacceptable. The representation ,unacceptable. The lack of compassion UNACCEPTABLE. If I could give him 0 stars I would. I hope you are ready to stand before the committee for the grievance (sounds like you have multiple coming) because you’ve failed to represent him the correct way.
Just to be clear, this is the third review (first was removed by google, second is below) from a person that was never a client. Regardless, I am submitting this response to the blatant incorrect information. It should also be noted that this reviewer, with the same last name as the one below, has a different first name which seems to indicate this person has multiple accounts so as to be able to abuse this review system and post these types of reviews under different names (she admits to being the same person).<br><br>For sake of transparency, it is true I had assumed the person this reviewer was talking about in her earlier review was someone else since the information given in that review said Westchester County, which is not where the client this reviewer is talking about was ever incarcerated. Also, yes, having been doing this for as long as I have, and having the volume of work that I have, it should not be shocking that there would be more than one person that is unhappy. Additionally, it was the reviewer that gave incorrect information that led to my prior assumption as to who she was talking about and not through any fault of my own.<br><br>There was no neglect on the appeal. This client had multiple local court cases and across those local court cases, one included a felony that was reduced to a misdemeanor and a conditional discharge was the sentence. It was later alleged the CD was violated due to new arrests. We conducted the hearing, both new arrests resulted in dismissals but the local court held him in violation of the initial CD and sentenced him to one year (the October, 2024). This is what served as the basis for the appeal, although during that time 2 new felony drug matters were charged, and then after that, a triple attempted murder case was commenced (this is the case that this client ended up having a separate lawyer on that I stayed in communication with). Prior to the attempted murder case the plan was to file the appeal on the violation of the CD and related sentence and submit a motion to stay sentencing, however, the motion became academic once the attempted murder case was commenced because of the independent custody-status on that matter. The Notice of Appeal was filed and the client was provided proof of same. I obtained an invoice for the transcripts related to the CD violation and upon the client paying, I paid the court reporter (who required payment before beginning work on transcripts). I gave proof they were paid to the client and then sent him a copy of all transcripts as they were received along with proof of the time it took to obtain them (the court reporter was back logged). Upon the attempted murder charges being added, and with the client hiring a separate lawyer on that case as it became the priority, and after speaking with the client about his finances and getting authorization from him, I filed a motion for assignment of counsel and poor person relief in the appeal and mailed the client a copy. There was no lie or negligence related to the appeal. Not only was the appeal timely filed but the motion was granted and the client was assigned an attorney in March of 2025.<br><br>The offer never went from 3 years to 9 and there was no failure to discuss plea deals/offers with the client. I had been attempting to negotiate a 3 year concurrent deal on the two separate drug matters but the People rejected that after initially considering it. They came back with 9 years. As a result the 3 was never an offer made but part of larger discussions. In that time period, the triple attempted murder was commenced. Despite having another lawyer, I was involved with working a global deal with the end result being 8 years on one drug count, concurrent with 6-12 on a conspiracy plea off the attempted murder, all of which are non-violent. The client accepted this deal and at allocution told the court he was happy with his lawyers' representation and advice and that he was not forced to take this deal.
I spoke and hired Joe on a Saturday and was in court with me that Monday. He is very respectful and knows what he is doing. Takes his time to talk to you. I feel confident with having him as my attorney for my divorce case. He came highly recommended. I can see why. Thank you

I had caught an out of state gun charge passing through Orangeburg, New York. So I was facing some serious felonies. My bail bonds lady “Kim Camacho” recommended “Mr. Joseph Gulino” as the attorney I should hired for my case. Some times I wished he was a little better as far as communication/returning some of my calls at time. Neither the less, He was very articulate & expansive in letting me know everything I was facing about my case. Joe is the best lawyer in the Westchester/putnam/dutchess area. Hes handled 1 criminal case for me which he got thrown out. As well as now handling a civil lawsuit for me, every time ive reached out too joe regarding any case hes always jumped right on it. Anytime ive eber called for any concerns joe has always got right back to me and was always 100% truthful. I would recommend mr. I hired Joe for multiple cases all stemming from my divorce. I had a previous attorney for 10 years whom was nowhere near as effective or communicative as Joe. He managed to get more results and move communications toward resolution in a few short months. He has always been respectful, professional, and responsive. He is knowledgeable and is very clear in not only his presentation to the court but, in his explanations to me regarding the process.

Ms. Harmon has been a client for a number of years now resulting in a non-marital relationship ending, which resulted in litigation to divide property. When I was retained, the underlying litigation related to the property had been resolved resulting from a default against Ms. Harmon (that I had nothing to do with as I was not handling the case during that process). I made no guarantees to Ms. Harmon and advised her of her various options to attempt to vacate the default. Her argument was largely related to allegedly not being served properly. During this time, and resulting from rhe prior default before my time as her lawyer, the Court appointed a receiver. There was also the issue of return of personal property. I made the motion to vacate the default based on all the circumstances as described to me by Ms. Harmon based on an affidavit in support that she read and signed. The Court ultimately denied the motion and the property was divided. Ms. Harmon did receive her share and the property did sell for a higher value then expected. <br><br>During this process, we also negotiated the return of personal property but many items were damaged or otherwise not returned. We filed a separate lawsuit related thereto. Based upon the proof provided by Ms. Harmon to me, and after several settlement appearances and mediation/arbitration appearances an offer was made by the opposing party. Ms. Harmon was sent the various release papers and advised that if we did not agree we would proceed to trial. She was advised that based on the proof we had, it would be difficult to get more. Ultimately Ms. Harmon signed the release paperwork and the settlement funds were transferred to her. No guarantees or promises were made and she was kept apprised the entire time. Ultimately, she would have gotten nothing if not for my efforts because she initially defaulted, which I worked to mitigate. I am sorry that Ms. Harmon is not happy but the allegations in her review are wholly untrue.
I hired Joe to represent me in a criminal defense case related to firearm possession. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable and made sure I understood the legal process and his strategy. In the courtroom, he’s tenacious, well-spoken and pays attention to detail. He had the defense team stressed out. I highly recommend Joe if you ever get into trouble!
