Joseph was my attorney for a criminal case I had in paulding county. Since I was from out of state he handled everything with the prosecutor before I ever stepped a foot into court, so I only had to appear one time and did not have to pay for multiple flights. Got appointed Joe Saul as my Public Defender for a case in Cobb County, GA when I live all the way down in Clearwater, FL. He ALWAYS stayed in contact & updated me on what was going on. Even if I had to call him after I got off work, as late as almost 10PM! He reached out to everyone he could & filed all the motions he was able to & did not stop emailing & calling people until he got answers. He was preparing to take the case to trial instead of insisting on me taking a deal like most PD’s tend to do. There was no deal I was willing to take for a charge I did not do but the prosecutor was not giving it up, neither did Joe. In the end he got the entire case, all 3 charges, DROPPED! Something we didn’t even think was an option!!! I only had to appear in court 1 time! Ive never had a better public defender! It seemed like he really knew how messed up my whole situation was & even when I was frustrated & might have not been the nicest, he still leveled with me & understood. I 100% recommend him as a public defender and a hired attorney! Thank you!!!!
