I hired Todd for a very serious charge pertaining to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This was a Felony matter and the possibility of an extend jail sentence was real and highly probable. From the first visit with him in Oakland county Jail he was honest and upfront with me on what he felt he could bring to the table. I couldn’t be happier with his services from the day of retention all the way through to sentencing. He was always very responsive and fought hard against the prosecutor when they tried to make a case for a harsher punishment. Todd was also very fairly priced for the experience and knowledge of the Judges and Prosecutors in Oakland county. I truly believe he got me the best possible outcome in a situation that could have turned out very ugly. Great guy and a great lawyer – worth every penny!!

I had a great experience with Todd Kaluzny. He represented me in my third attempt for a full driver's license restoration appeal through the secretary of state. I didn't use him for my first two attempts and with his help the third attempt was a success. I know without his guidance and expertise I'd still be without a full license. Even with full confidence of living a sober lifestyle and engaged in a recovery program, I was still nervous for the hearing and unsure on what to say and how to say it. Todd helped me fully prepare, which helped me stay calm and thorough during the hearing. There are certain things that the secretary of state wants to hear, but they don't specifically ask the questions that address their concerns; Todd asks you those questions in the hearing and prepared me for the questions. During the process of submitting the appeal I even had a major violation when my breathalyzer came unplugged in the car. So we had to face the violation and the appeal in the same hearing. I was in a full panic, butt Todd kept me calm and arranged for both the license restoration and violation be addressed in one hearing. Last quick comment, in the hearing the hearing officer said she remembered me from last hearing and was ready and prepared to revoke my license (because of the violation and my history). Instead she granted me my full license privileges. I know that my efforts to be sober and new lifestyle helped, but Todd taught me how to convey that information and prompted me when to share it at the hearing. I can't be more thankful and pleased with the services of Todd Kaluzny!
