I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Kanner & Pintaluga, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. This firm accepted my personal injury case and represented me for nearly two years. Throughout that time, I relied on their legal guidance and followed their recommendations in good faith. One of the most damaging decisions was their explicit advice not to use my health insurance for my medical treatment, assuring me that everything would be handled through the legal case and settlement process. After almost two years of waiting—with no resolution, no settlement, and no meaningful progress—I suddenly received a letter stating that they were withdrawing from my case. No adequate explanation. No transition plan. No assistance to protect me from the consequences of their prior advice. As a direct result, I was left personally responsible for substantial medical bills, despite the fact that I did have active health insurance at the time—insurance that could and should have been used from the beginning. By the time the firm withdrew, it was too late to retroactively bill insurance, leaving me financially exposed and overwhelmed. What is most troubling is not just the withdrawal itself, but the lack of accountability and foresight: • The firm took on a case without seeing it through. • They advised against using insurance, a decision that directly harmed me financially. • They remained involved for almost two years, only to walk away when the consequences fell entirely on the client. • No responsibility was assumed for the medical debt left behind. This experience reflects a serious lack of client-centered care, strategic responsibility, and ethical consideration. Accepting a case means understanding the long-term impact of legal advice especially when that advice affects a client’s access to medical care and financial stability. I trusted this firm to protect my interests. Instead, I was left with medical debt, stress, and no legal representation, all stemming from decisions that I was advised to make by them. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this firm ask very direct questions about: • What happens if the firm withdraws • How medical bills will be handled if there is no settlement • Whether you should involve your health insurance regardless of legal strategy Unfortunately, my experience demonstrates what can happen when those safeguards are not in place.

Terrible experience with this law firm. It's been over a year since my accident and they haven't responded at all. I call and send messages and they don't reply! I think it's disrespectful to the client not to provide any information, and to have so much time pass without them saying anything, and even worse, to leave my messages on read. 😡

A total disaster. More than a month wasted with these people, only for them to finally decide not to continue with my case, even though I was innocent and there were two insurance policies that could have been held responsible. The worst law firm ever, a disaster in customer service. If you don't contact them, you never know about your case until they dismiss it.

Not a single call back. It's unacceptable for a law firm to treat its clients this way, especially when it's a case as serious as an accident that affects your health and daily life. They clearly don't care about your situation or are committed to helping you. I absolutely do not recommend them. They're a complete failure, they don't help you at all, a horrible experience. You call them and they leave you waiting, then they hang up on you. I don't recommend them.
