Called this lawyer and asked if they were civil rights attorneys and proceed to tell the lady about my situation, of a drunk neighbor pulls a gun on my family, and the cops said it was justified, I am unarmed as the rest of my family is and he was drunk, the cops gave his weapon back even Drunk. I don't believe this attorney will be of any help to anyone.

I've spent the last several months, writing, deleting, rewriting and deleting all over again this very same review. I really wanted to say something profound that would leave a lasting impact on those that are currently on the search for legal representation. I wanted to say something that people would never forget because that's what Matthew Kaplan did for me. This man fought for me in a way I never imagined an attorney would bother themselves with. I used to be of the mind that attorneys were business professionals with nerves made of granite. Stoic, mighty in a sense, unbothered by the afflictions that emotions wreak on average people's lives. Man, idk what kind of tea I was drinking before because I don't think I could possibly be more incorrect. Bottom line, Matthew Kaplan is truly a good person with a strong moral compass and a sense of integrity. He's highly skilled, knowledgeable and I'm not quite sure what it is about him but he just makes you feel like you deserve to win. Now that's not saying he'll blow smoke or sugar coat your fancy because he's not one to cosign on nonsense. He's a straight shooter and he'll make sure you're well informed on the proceedings. If you're facing any kind of legal battle that falls within his scope of expertise, I recommend him the same way he was recommended to me by dear friends of mine and that is "HIGHLY". P.S. of course I cannot leave out his secretary, Gillian because she's just amazing. She is truly the surprise bonus you didn't know you needed. I owe her more than I could ever repay. Big fans of Gillian over here.
