Jude kerrison handled my workers comp case around 2010. When we went to court he wasn’t familiar enough with the details of my injury and barely put up any argument against the company lawyer. Before our next court date he came to me with a settlement offer. I was to get 600 dollars and he was getting 2000 for his fee. When I refused it he got upset and his voice went up like a little girl. He asked “ how am I supposed to get paid?” I said do your job and bring me a real offer. He said don’t bother showing up at court because he was going to tell judge we were dropping claim. Then hung up on me. My case was against 2 companies. One in Rhode Isl one in Massachusetts. The judge in Rhode Island ruled in my favor for 67500 dollars. He said make sure my lawyer holds company in Massachusetts accountable as both were liable for the injury. Kerrison got me a offer of 600 dollars vs the 67500 from Rhode Island? And he would get 2000? I wouldn’t let that guy represent me on a parking ticket. Mishandled my case and cost thousands and thousands of dollars. My doctor said I got hurt at work. Company doctor said I got hurt at work. Independent state doctor said I got hurt at work. How bad of a lawyer do you have to be to only get 600 dollar offer? Pathetic.
