She's the best attorney I could have ever found she takes it personal and treats you like family
Katie is truly the best attorney out there - an absolute powerhouse ! From start to finish, she fought with everything she had for my family and never backed down ! You can just tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes every case to heart. Her dedication, knowledge, and passion are unmatched. She goes above and beyond, fights hard, and truly goes to war for the ones she represents. I have so much respect and gratitude for her - if you’re looking for someone who is going to stand by you, fight till the very end (and WIN) she’s the one. I cannot recommend her enough ! She’s SO worth it !!!!
Thank you, Ansley! It was an honor to help your family.
Katie was referred to me for a frivolous harassment / stalking TPO filed against me. She collected information from me for my defense, and had her strategy in place when we faced the petitioner in court. In court, when Katie was able to see / hear the evidence presented by the petitioner, she paid attention to the details, and it was the petitioner’s evidence that she was able to use to get the TPO dismissed. She used the petitioner’s own evidence to demonstrate that there was no harassment or stalking, and we prevailed! It was a brilliant strategy. I never even had to speak in court. I highly recommend Katie if you need this type of defense!
Christine, thank you so much for your kind words. I am so pleased that we were able to get this case dismissed at the hearing. Best of luck to you and your family moving forward!
I truly recommend this lawyer from the bottom of my heart, She is fearless and ain't afraid to stand up against any prosecutor, She was appointed and pple were telling me as serious of charges I'm facing I don't need no appointed lawyer, But I felt safe and hung on and OMG ...SHE blew it away ...Making the police the DA look like rookies, I walked away and I owe it all tho her, Thank you so much Katie Elwart..
Ronnie, I am so happy that we were able to put this horrible situation behind you. I wish you and your family all the best!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an outstanding experience working with Katie Elwart and her team. From the very first consultation through to the resolution of my case, Katie demonstrated a high degree of legal acumen, dedication, and clear communication. What particularly stood out was her ability to distill complex legal concepts into readily understandable terms. Every step of the process was outlined clearly, keeping me informed and confident in the strategy being pursued. Katie was not only highly responsive—often answering questions within hours—but she also genuinely cared about securing the best possible outcome on my behalf. Her attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and unwavering commitment set her apart. If you’re looking for a legal professional who combines expertise with empathy and consistently delivers results, I wholeheartedly recommend Katie Elwart. Your case couldn’t be in more capable hands.
Thank you, Terry! It was a pleasure to get to know you, and I wish you all the best moving forward.
As we were leaving the court room we overheard some people say "She is the best lawyer money can buy." She helped me handle an extremely stressful court case and helped me be able to see my son again. We joked that I am going to get her name tattooed on my arm in gratitude for her services. I would recommend her highly.
Christian, thank you for your kind words (but, please, skip the tattoo). I'm so glad your case worked out the way that it did, and I wish you and your family all the best in the future!
What can I say. The best lawyer out there. Ms.Elwart did her thing at what she's best at. I had a good 6 year left on probation and Ms.Elwart was able to get the early termination happen for me. She was quick to get a court date and did everything she needed to do stand on business. Very nice, understanding, well communicated and is able to help and listen. I can't thank her enough of how she has changed my life and I can live free again. Just a huge relief. It was very nice to work with her and I'd recommend her to my friends and family.

Thank you, Serenity!
Just want to inform those who are in search of a criminal lawyer to ask as many questions as possible and to know that the final outcome more than likely will not be exactly as what the lawyers present to you or your family. The end result seems trickery in that the judge more than likely will give more time during the sentencing phase. And during this phase, my son who was represented by this attorney, my son said, this attorney walked out of court and didn't say goodbye to him or wish him any best wishes during his long prison sentence. Also, this firm should be more clear on how the plea-deal process works--that it is setup more like a Bench trial with the judge having the final say on how much time the accused will have to serve. Also, this firm should have practice sessions with the client before court on how to respond to the judge in court or better yet, advise the client that he/she has a constitutional right to plead the 5th and not speak at all as by doing so, the client may cause more harm to his/her case. If one takes a plea deal--then , in my family's opinion, there is no further need to explain or answer any questions about the case; otherwise, the client may piss the judge off and get more time. The whole process seems like a game of chess--gambling with your loved one's life! If I had known that the plea-deal process was actually like a trial , I would not have missed my son's court date for nothing in the world--I thought it would be a matter of my son signing paperwork, but I was definitely wrong. Family members, show up to your loved one's plea deal court date because, it is actually a trial with the judge, a Bench trial. And the judge will ask, "Where is your family?" Know that your presence makes a world of difference.
Pam,

I appreciate that you are very sad about the situation that your son found himself in and the consequences that he is facing. However, please remember that, prior to your son's guilty plea hearing, I met with you, your mother, his aunt, his uncle and his father, at my office for nearly two hours, answering everyone's questions and explaining the process. And, that was not our only in person meeting that we had, even though your family hired me just one month before his case was called into trial. Additionally, this does not include the MANY hours I spent at the jail with your son, preparing him for court and for his hearing. Your statements about my lack of preparation for the hearing are simply inaccurate. On the day of his plea, I think in the stress of the moment, he must have forgotten that I did wish him well before I left court.

I also understand the regret you may feel about choosing to skip court, which was not something that I advised you to do. I'm grateful he had some family there to support him. Unfortunately, the judge did not agree with the district attorney's recommendation or mine, given the difficult facts in your son's case. I wish you and your family the best going forward. Hopefully, you'll take some comfort in knowing that I was still able to obtain a sentence for your son that was ten years less than any of the recommendations that his previous attorneys had negotiated.

Best,
Katie
Thank you!
Katie was a FANTASTIC resource and lawyer for my unfortunate divorce case. She was recommended by a trusted friend and felt like one from the beginning! She was direct, intelligent, and comforting through a hard process. When going through an emotional process, it helps greatly to have a knowledgeable and confident lawyer to handle the unknown. Without a second thought, Katie will be my first call in any legal matters in the future.
Andrew, thank you so much! I’m so glad that we were able to put this sad situation behind you. All the best to you moving forward!
Great Attorney, and made my case with my speeding ticket get resolved without any problems. Would retain this Attorney Again. Thank you for all your support.
Thank you so much, Curtis! I appreciate the vote of confidence!
Katie represented me in a most professional manner and won my case against the State out of the Fulton County courts. She did all the necessary legwork to collect information and contact witnesses/support for me; and she was very thorough about it all. In the court room she handled the ADA and Judges questions extremely well and had incredibly strong points and questioning of her own. I am very happy to have been represented by her. It was a genuine pleasure watching her work in the courtroom.
Alan, thank you so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure to get to know you, and I'm so happy about the outcome of your case.
Working with Katie was an absolute pleasure and she exceeded all expectations. Her professionalism, compassion, and exceptional skill in her craft were evident from our first phone call to the moment the judge granted our motions. Throughout the entire process, Katie provided timely updates and ensured that I was fully informed every step of the way. Thanks to her unwavering dedication and hard work, my family and I are now in a much better situation. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend Katie to anyone in need of a Criminal Defense Attorney.
Jeff, thank you so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure to get to know you and your family, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome of your case. I wish you all the best!
I am going to quote my family member regarding Kathryn Elwart. "I have the best lawyer on the planet!" A family member got into some serious legal trouble a few years ago. Katie has worked tirelessly for 4 years, though covid and many delays, to get the absolute best outcome that we could hope for! She is VERY kind, compassionate, and caring to everyone involved. Regardless of your situation or circumstance, I highly recommend her as your first and only choice for an attorney. Our family is blessed that we found her!
Cindy, thank you for your kind words. I am thrilled that this situation is behind you and feel fortunate that I got to know your sweet family too!
Katie Elwart is the best criminal defense attorney in Metro Atlanta! I now have a civil case against the jurisdiction where I was charged, because the police, and the prosecutors knew I was completely innocent, but they wanted me to testify against a person that I knew nothing about , and lie on the stand so they could convict person they wanted. She will leave no stone unturned to find out the truth in your case to get your case dismissed, and she is also good people. Thanks 🙏 Katie for your Help!
Thank you! It was an honor to help you, and I'm so happy that this situation is behind you now. Best of luck!
