I’ve seen and heard so many TV and radio. Then when I do some research I find they’re not all they say they are. I didn’t see any adds for these folks. During my research on the other ads these people kept showing up with top ratings from their clients. So, still a little leery, I contacted them and I’m very glad I did. I dealt with Adam McPherson, He was very patient and thorough in handling my case. My case involved a hearing injury from a vehicle accident. So it wasn’t some straightforward, wham, bam thank you ma’am deal. It took 11 months to complete the settlement but the results were outstanding and I got an excellent settlement. So I would recommend letting these folks take the time they need to do their work. It’ll be well worth it!!

Adam McPherson was knowledgeable, knew the ins and outs of insurance negotiation, and was flexible with me, letting me see doctors and specialists of my own choosing at my own convenience. He got me a great settlement, but just as important is that I did not suffer with too many specialists, interviews, or stressful and wasteful activities. I was a victim of a vicious dog attack (60+ stitches and hospitalization), and initially contacted friends to see if anyone could recommend a good PI lawyer (oxymoron?). I had two recommendations – Kaufman & McPherson, and a larger firm in Charles Town (not Charleston) where I live. I interviewed both. The Charles Town firm I did NOT select was big and professional, but even their proposed agreement with me smacked of greed. They had a whole team of folks to “help me” and I am sure they would have made my life miserable running around to doctors and paperwork. Perhaps this other firm could have gotten me a decent settlement, but I am sure they would have nickled and dimed me for expenses, taken a bigger cut, and made my life miserable. I should add that communication with Mr. M was prompt, efficient and professional whether by email or phone. Not to mention thoughtful and empathetic. All lawyers (and anyone else) should run their business like Kaufman and McPherson. I am so grateful for Adam McPherson.
