I am deeply frustrated with the lack of action and follow-through from Keene Law. I was assured that there was a clear plan in place for my case, and I trusted Teresa to execute it effectively. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Despite the promises made, no meaningful action was taken on my case. I was repeatedly told that things were moving forward, but in reality, nothing was being done. My case remained stagnant for far too long. Hiring Teresa caused more harm than help in my life. I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of progress. If you're looking for an attorney who will actually follow through on their word, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I wish I had paid more attention to the numerous negative reviews of Keene Law before hiring them. Unfortunately, my experience with this firm has proven that the criticisms are entirely accurate. Despite paying a substantial fee, there was little to no progress on my case, and it felt as though my time and money were being completely wasted. Teresa was nearly impossible to reach, and when they did respond, their replies were often vague and uninformative. It was clear that my case was not a priority, leaving me feeling neglected and in the dark throughout the process. Do not count on getting any sort of refund for the upfront flat fee even if nothing was accomplished in your case. The lack of professionalism and attention to detail is consistent with what others have said about this firm. I regret not heeding the warnings in those reviews. If you're considering Keene Law, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The negative feedback you see is there for a reason—this firm is not worth your time, money, or peace of mind. Teresa is responding to reviews trying to blame the clients, when there are this many complaints for the same reasons it's showing that the complaints are true. Don't fall for the fact that she seems nice and motivated at your consultation.

Absolutely horrible. Kept no contact. Took 8 months to even act like she was going to do anything. Was extremely rude to my wife. And then dropped me because I got irritated with the time frame and way she spoke to my wife update new lawyer pulled all info that was needed up in five minutes of the first phone call. Supposedly took months for Keene law .Definitely go for a larger law office.

Would NOT recommend this family law lawyer! Took advantage of us and was Very hard to get ahold of or for her to respond to you. Accused us of stalking because after weeks of not responing we went to her office. I mean weeks of no response after contacting firm or even texting her direct number. Lied about having a meeting with opposing lawyer. Broke our contract and kept our money because I told her I was reporting her to the Washington state bar association for not keeping us, her clients informed of what was going on with our case. Mediation was a joke, she said she was scared of the opposing lawyer! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! This is my real name, take some accountability Teresa. She has been reported to the Washington state bar association recommended by my attorney. I urge anyone who experienced such horrible service do the same! It is not okay for her to keep doing this to people. She did NOTHING probono with our case! She did nothing with our case except sit in on mediation and agree with opposing lawyer.

Great attorney, helped me in so many ways, financial, emotional my case was a disaster and Teresa and Alex held my hand through it all. Hope I never need you again, but if I do I know your always on my side.

Absolutely the worst service imaginable. Did not succeed in any application of services as well as not responding to or even trying to comply with requests. Constantly rude and dismissive. Do yourself a favor and do not hire Teresa Keene you will just waste your money and gain absolutely nothing. I am entirely disheartened at the service I received and will be making a formal complaint.

Wasted my time and my money. I hired her for my divorce. Nothing was accomplished. Her and her paralegal are slow, don’t respond in a timely manner to emails or phone calls. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. Don’t try to save money by hiring her. Her “flat fee” is enticing but she’ll waste your time. If I could leave her zero stars I would.

The law firm failed to appropriately set or communicate a consultation, resulting in one missed appointment. Rather than realize that someone contacting a family lawyer must obviously have some serious things going on, the lawyer Teresa herself simply brushed me off and bid me “good luck” because we “don’t seem to be a good fit”. Attempting to establish a consultation for my custody issue, the paralegal offered some times for an appointment. I confirmed my availability of an appointment on the Friday of a Holiday weekend, and did not receive a response email until 8 minutes (yes, 8 minutes) before the mentioned appointment, confirming our slot. I responded with the apparent mix up, and tried to set another appointment. This is when the lawyer, Teresa, emailed me to basically find someone else, since I received text confirmation and didn’t show up. There was no Text. There was one email from the paralegal, 8 minutes before an appointment. Phone appointment? Zoom? In person? Who knows.. there were no details. I would almost understand an unsupportive and / or unfriendly response from someone that didn’t have their name literally on the business, but this was a great indication of the type of individual that would gladly be taking your money. A business is a business, and it is for making money, but customer service / compassion goes a long way when you’re supposed to be assisting with a customer base that is most likely going through some very tough and stressful situations. I recommend to anyone reading this to ensure you don’t expect much until you’ve handed over some cash.
