I’ve never represented anyone named Ray Williams. While I’d prefer to be known as a peacemaker, even by opposing parties and enemies, insults from bullies and cowards hiding behind pseudonyms may mean I actually stand on the side of justice. Please tell me what I did that makes me a terrible attorney? Did you get a judgment against you? Do you have to pay my attorney’s fees for representing the party that prevailed against you? Any truth you have to support your adjective is welcome and would be appreciated.

Joel Thurston sent an email saying that both me and my wife at the time (who was his client) would be broke at the end of the My experience with Joel Thurston during my divorce was very negative. He told me and my wife at the time that we would both end up broke at the end of the process — and unfortunately, that turned out to be true. In my view, the case was drawn out unnecessarily for t About two years and left both sides financially drained. I personally filed several state bar complaints because I felt his conduct was not in the best interest of his client. From my perspective, the legal fees consumed all of my ex-wife’s share from the sale of the house, and she was left with nothing after the case. Once the funds were gone, he ended the representation. In my opinion, this was a very damaging and disappointing experience, and I would caution others to carefully consider their options before hiring him. ter
Genesis insurance, would you mind posting the actual full email you mention and the results of your bar complaints? You would not be the first nor the last opposing party I have cautioned about choosing to litigate unnecessarily. When a person chooses to go to war in a lawsuit, there is a cost. Sometimes the price isn’t worth it… <br>When opposing parties post reviews, it may be because they have not received the ruling they want in court and may have been ordered to pay my fees for their conduct. Do you mind sharing if you were ordered by the court to pay my fees?
My wife and I hired KTO for two different purposes: adopting a child and creating an estate plan, and we were thrilled with both results. KTO was proficient, easy to work with, and affordable. Very poor experience. The process took far longer than necessary, communication was minimal, and the fees were far higher than expected. I did not feel the firm acted in my best interests. I would not recommend their services.
I had a very bad experience with Joel Thurston. He only cares about money and milking his clients much as possible. I would stay far away
I believe this post is mistaken or not a real person, as I don't have any clients by this name, and I looked back over two years. Regardless, "jenny" you are correct that I care about money, sometimes too much. I struggle to balance running a business with employees to pay and numerous bills associated with successfully operating a law firm and seeking to obtain justice for people of all incomes and abilities to pay. I try to be as reasonable as possible. I feel we deliver exceptional service for an efficient and fair price, albeit we are not cheap. As the adage goes, you do often get what you pay for. Additionally, as an attorney and counselor, I often deliver difficult truth to clients and potential clients based upon their facts and how the law applies to their situation. Sometimes they don't like what I have to say as their legal advisor, and that they have paid me to tell them something other than what they want to hear. I am not always right. I'm imperfect in so many ways, but I will never represent someone and tell them what they want to hear when I believe their position is unreasonable and legally unsupported. Anyone who knows me knows that your defamatory allegation stating I "only" care about money is false. Similarly, "milking" my clients as "much as possible" is an untenable business model for someone in the customer service industry. You are wrong and these are legally defamatory allegations. Although we cannot please everyone, thankfully rarely do clients dispute the validity of their bills. In my experience, typically this kind of complaint is from an opposing party that is upset they lost to our team in court or a client or potential client that doesn't listen to our advice and they end up getting sanctioned by the court (a common litigation sanction is paying attorney's fees for the prevailing party). "Jenny" if you are a real person, would you mind stating if are you a disgruntled prior opposing party? Or would you state whether you ended up being required to pay the attorney's fees of the other party in your matter? If you are willing to respond, please include your case number, if there is one, so that we can at least know this is a post by a real person. If you got the state bar involved, please state what the conclusion was from that. Your response to these questions will at least let us know you are real, and if you are and this review expresses your feelings about me, I am truly sorry you feel this way. Although I don't find my identity in what people think about me, your allegations are the opposite of the character I hope to be known for, and I do truly wish you all God's best.
