Had a great experience with this firm and services. They are top notch, honest, and truly helped me understand a few things i was unclear about. The services I received helped put me more at rest with ensuring I was doing things correctly. Now days things change so fast on rules/way things are done/running a buisness/life. Its great to have Kennedy & Ruhsam Law Offices, P.A. on my team as i know things are done right. Keep up the great and honest work.

Awful experience overall. Mary met with me in January for my consult, said she would review my case with Jason & let me know if it was something he could help with. She assured me she would get back to me the following week. Fast forward to almost two months later, she only reached out because I personally had someone else contact the office & I also emailed her asking for an update. Justin all of a sudden was my assigned lawyer who magically came out of no where after I was told Scott & or Jason would be taking on our case. He was dishonest on how long he met with us & I have time stamps to prove it. Over charged & would never recommend them. Happy I found the lawyer I have now who took my case & the within 24 hours had a cease & desist letter out to the timeshare company for all communications to stop, not to mention had us sign a auth to communicate form so ALL communications would go through him. Justin asked us to call the timeshare company ourselves & said, “They won’t talk to me.” Obviously not. But that’s what Authorization to Communicate & Negotiate forms are for ;) do your research before just going with anyone. Lesson learned.

Kennedy and Ruhsam provided excellent service at a very reasonable cost for a fairly involved project over a year and a half. At every step Scott the attorney gave expert advice and guidance, while Tina, the paralegal, dispatched a heavy volume of work, was always pleasant, and ever available for consultation.

I am thankful that I saw the blog online with Tina explaining the balancing of the final accounting for a probate. After reading the blog entry (which is one thing I was having trouble with), I called and spoke to Tina regarding my situation. I had already been working with another lawyer to probate my brothers estate for two years and wasn’t any closer to being finished than when I had started. After speaking to Tina I felt very comfortable with hiring Scott Ruhsam to help me finish my brothers probate. The fees were extremely reasonable, both Tina and Scott were easy to communicate with both by phone and email and they answered all my questions very quickly. I also found them to be proactive when issues arose so I didn’t have to stress about anything. Tina was very helpful when it came to balancing the final accounting. I had spent hours trying to figure out what I had done wrong and within ten minutes working with Tina, we had it balanced. This law firm, and Scott and Tina specifically, is the best firm I have ever dealt with. They deserve 10 stars.

This was the 2nd law firm we hired to assist with our probate case. They were very efficient and helpful in getting the matters resolved as quickly as can be expected in the judicial system.

Great law firm. Never had an issue in 18 years I have been using it. Mike Kennedy is a great attorney that saved my bottom several times financially reviewing our contracts. I worked with Scott Rusham for the past 3 years and there again, no issues whatsoever.

Attorney Scott Ruhsam cannot be trusted with probate. He permitted my brother, the Executor of my mother’s estate, to steal a substantial amount of money; knowing my brother would try. I told him my concerns multiple times early on & he assured me that ”could never happen”. Attorney was rude, condescending & will not answer any questions that he was suppose to answer (unless I paid him additional money) that I know, would not get answered anyway. Detailed accounting was never received, as promised. Not 1 single receipt was ever provided, as promised, for any of the outrageous & senseless expenses etc. Family members beware, stay away from Kennedy Law Office. UPDATE: RESPONSE I RECEIVED FROM ATTORNEY RUHSAM They are not providing receipts or explanations for where any of the money went including the money I was promised 1 year ago, and never received or a close out of case etc. as they have been forced to “withdraw from counsel” due to the fact that they cannot get ahold of my brother, the Executor. I have no idea where any of the money from my mother’s estate went. This attorney doesn’t even try to be civil, he just ignores you.
